I just realised that it is the first drama among all the other 100+ dramas i've watched out there ,where the ML…
There r some drama these days with normal male lead
But here we had normal male lead and rich famous female lead..now that’s new

Even in the end we see the publishers sang in plan to stay in small city as the juri the nurse works there so he wanted to be near her

This drama does break many stereotype hence adds to its charm

IKR.. and even top 10 in 72 country.. a show which was still airing until now and not English dubbed Only subbed
It’s HUGE!
I am happy that it got all the love internationally and in Korea too with the good data and Naver news

Now they will know not to simply judge a show by cable tv ratings and making huge headlines based on that(especially all these international forum)

And it’s good to see the rating increase in last 2 ep
And praises to the show and cast all over the world
It deserves all the love

Kim soo hyun really lives up his name as top actor
Out of the 3 main characters his was the one with plain “normal” character with many burdens and problems in his life

The way he showed his character pain and happiness and growth is WOW
With his sadness, tears, anger, smile , laugh all emotions so well portrayed in every ep that viewers felt it
Ep 9 crying will always give me The chills

Happy tears , sad tears all so well expressed
Maximum Acting just by his eyes without needing any dialogue!
All 3 cast were just PERFECT
Any praise won’t be enough for them

Is ko moon Young still a writer or did she quit?
She will explore I can say
with gang tae for some time.. as he said writers do get help from travelling.. and she does need it
While kang tae tries to study for college again as it was his wish for a long time...to experience that and try new things
He had become a Psychiatric nurse/caregiver as it was easy to get transferred and get job in any hospital as they kept moving due to his brothers trauma
Plus it would be a help in dealing with his brother’s condition better
He always but his brother 1st not himself
Now he is trying to change and love himself more

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
Wow the explanation is the best It removes all the doubts I hadI hope later when people watch this show and google…
We had totally fire gotten the fact.. kang tae never explained or clarified about the river fall incident with snag tae
Instead
Thought of how to make thier relation. Enter by saying truth and treating him like a elder brother and not burden
Same goes with moon yeon.. the trauma of her mother returning was frightening..and when she did
She knew what lies ahead.. is to protect her new found family and not analyse how is she alive
Her childhood memories are anyway messed up
And yes the father.. from the time it shows he hears the raisin and talks to the mother... his tone change as if he is having episode of hallucination..
so we don’t know how he tired to killl her.. and what’s the incident
While he was narrating it to the nurse/mother
She just kept smiling

We didn’t have a narrative from outside
Instead ever characters perspective
Hence a perfect character growth kdrama
The director just added a little thrill.. but that wa s ever bound to be the main focus.. but many thought it was
It’s a unique kind of writing and style
Loved it

Firstly, I have to say that this drama is 100% true to its title as being a "human healing" drama. I laughed,…
Wow the explanation is the best
It removes all the doubts I had
I hope later when people watch this show and google stuff about the mother they get directed to those tumbler link

Let's not forget that was not the main plot tho. I mean the father was suffering with a brain tumor and MY was…
Yup totally agree.. the Brian rumour thing.. he was already hallucinating when he was talking the the mother after hearing the news on radio
His voice and tone changed

About the mother being hurt and dumped thing....

the part when they show the father gets up from the chair and just gets to know his diagnosis of the tumour... his expression changes
Like he is already having some kind of hallucination the way he talks and his change in tone while talking as he hears the radio about the murder and questions the mother
Tries to kill her ..
The mother after being hurt escaped

The river part for sure I guess it’s a hallucination
As the father after arriving home.. young moon yeon ask him where was he, and he said reservoir
Moon yeon must have thought the father dumped the body as the basement was empty
It can be the father hallucination too

And hence he wanted to kill moon yeon as she was like her mother

The writers added a lot of thrill so ppl kept making us guess countless theory
In the end
She gets hurt , she escapes
Then seeks for revenge and secretly observes if her daughter is going on a right track like her
Stays next to the father to see him die.. as that’s what gives her joy ..seeing him having a painful death and tormenting him with clementine song
But when she sees her daughter changing for someone else
She knew her daughter failed to the person .. the art she wanted to create
So wanted to destroy moon yeon And the people close to her

She was a true psycho manic disorder

Completely agree with you! The first half of the series was strong! It was unique, interesting and fascinating.…
There was no fantasy horror edge
In the start that horror part was moon yeon nightmares due to her childhood
And now it shows how she is trying to overcome.. which is one of the msg of the show..to face and overcome your trauma
This drama did hav mix of many genre
But main was romcom ,melodrama ,healing ,mental health
And it stuck to it

Disappointed by the end! A typical fan service drama that grasps you by the looks mostly. Abundance of emotions,…
True it’s the best character development
But fan service.. every kdrama has these scenes.. so all kdrama shows fan service
And kdrama or any show for that matter
Their chemistry between the actors was the main point here

And climax.. the mother arc ended
The character learning to overcome their sad past by covering with good memories (the msg when sang tae paints over the the mutant butterfly the nurse drew)
Well u could be expecting something more
But the msg what the drama wanted to potray was very well delivered
Ending of sang tae wanting to work on his own! For himself! And not take kang tae’s help
And both brother going on their own path...
That was a change on its own as 1st it showed how dependent sang tae was on kang tae all his life that kang tae just lived for his brother and had no hope dreams of his own
It was a character growth based kdrama and not plot based

Title It's Okay to Not Be Okay Spoiler
The ending was surely the best
Sang tae wanting to do something by himself.. standing on his foot without his brother help
That part of the younger sang tae shown was very significant
And them the cars going in different direction

And both brother going on their own path...
That was a change on its own as 1st it showed how dependent sang tae was on kang tae all his life that kang tae just lived for his brother and had no hope dreams of his own

And the book reading scene to the mother
Bucket of tears poured
