I totally agree with you! I think it's just a hype thing, directors are not investing into practical drama anymore, because there are so many people who like garbage drama like this. All they need is a strong fan base and not a good story line to make money. And then there are people like us searching for meaningful drama but can't find any because of the popularity of these garbage dramas with great actors.

What was the highest rating that you ever given to a drama? Which drama is it? :)
My all time favorite drama is the Untamed. It is a solid TEN out of TEN. I didn't write a review on it because by the time I found that drama, there was like about 50+ reviews on it already. And I did not want to waste time writing similar reviews as other had previous written.
