Kim Hye Yoon's role was offered by the director, she did not have to audition for this drama. And no, KHY did not compete with Jisoo. Jisoo is the only lead who auditioned for her role. Haters are making up "Jisoo vs. KHY" story.

Haters will always be haters, but I still believe/hope that there are still sensible people out.

Jisoo is popular - there is no doubt. But you forgot about the writer, the director who are very famous as well and very well known in the drama production world. Just having good casts doesn't guarantee success. Drama will need to have good plot along side with good acting in order for it be well received by Soko's viewers.

We shouldn't be overhyping Jisoo now while the drama is not even out yet. Once it's out and even if the drama sucks but Jisoo does well then we can hype her up to the moon.

Ofc we have to be objective for drama/acting world. I really do want Jisoo to blow everyone's mind with her debut work but at the same I am so nervous for her because kdrama fans won't be so nice if she doesn't meet their expectation.

For me as her fan, I trust her decision and will always be supporting her regardless.

To be fair not all the commenters who are skeptical are Kim Hye Yoon's fan. These are kdrama fans who have seen many many time idols being casted and didn't turned out well. Yes some might be bitter comments but not all of them. This drama casted some of their favs who are really great at acting so they have the right to voice their thought here.

It's is not what you know but who you know and plus some luck and plus some talent.

Jisoo might the only lead who auditioned for her role, the rest are experience actors. People are fighting over nothing since everyone was already confirmed. At this point we just need to wait and watch. As a Jisoo fan I am happy that she gets to works with talented people. KHY would not have accepted this role if she didn't think the role is a good one. This is a 20 episodes drama so everyone will get to shine.

You can always watch other drama too you know. You are not being forced to watch this drama.

Let me ask you this: Are both Kim Hye Yoon and Kim Jisoo auditioned for the same role? And another question , are you the director and the writer of this drama. Give the girl a chance.
