I know the father was the one who did those horrible things, and I'm not saying the mother was the one who sold Achou. But what hurts me is that she stood by and let so much happen. She kept the truth from Achou and let her continue sacrificing herself for the family. I guess that's why I feel so bad for Achou. The father was cruel, but the mother was someone she loved and wanted to protect, and she still failed her.

Not sure how to best explain my feeling about them but either way they are both not likable people.

yes ofc. I guess I prefer woman centric dramas and end up liking the main leads more than the typical popular actors and popular actress put together.

It's okay if you don't like the main leads chemistry. Me on the other hand love them so much, the last time I'm loving the main leads chemistry in Chinese dramaland was in "Rattan (2021)" and "Legend of Lu Zhen (2013)"

Agreed and ofc lord Lu Zhou himself is so handsome. I really like the scene so much, the dialogues, their flirting gazes, along with the music just elevate it even further.

Women centric drama so most men are kind of the background supporters. He's doing just fine. He is just too good looking for me to find anything negative things to say about him.

I kept looking at the time watching this as I don't want to end too quickly. Ofc always the cliffhanger.

This has comedy blend in as well.
