A little bit of romance. Personally if China doesn’t ban BL this would be boy love 100%. They made it into bromance. This is a really good drama.

I feel that Chinese production team does historical dramas better. The best cdramas for me were Nirvana on Fire s1 and the Untamed.

Kdrama team might make it better with less episodes.

When I see 40 episodes I just don’t click on it.

Go for it. You don’t need to watch part 1 prior to part 2.

Part 2 is romance. Part 1 was too too draggy ( better story but boring).

She ages but gracefully. She does take good care of herself so her look is still very pretty but you can see she ages.

I don't recall being a popular drama is equivalent to being a good story drama. People has to like it enough to rate higher although does it mean it's a good story? not all cases. It's all about how much people enjoyed the drama vs how you think what people should be watching and rating. For example my favorite drama ( best kdrama ever produced in South Korea) is " dear my friends" and rate a 10 cuz I love it and enjoyed it enough to watch multiple times. AoS's story is not even 1/10 close to that drama in term of story telling but I am still enjoying this and I rated a 10 because I like it. You can't say that's not a correct rating according to you but to me it is worth it.

Just watch and decide on your own. Everyone's preference is different.

The writer got lost while writing the FL character and lost track on how to make the story makes sense. BUT guess what I like it and stop thinking if the story makes sense or not. Yep I watched kdramas for the actors 99.99% of the times.

It's either you hate this or you love it.

I gave 10 for the cast since most kdrama sucks anyway.
8.5 for finishing.
10 for finishing and if I liked it.

without the cast I think this would be 100x sucks.

I think she did pretty well. I am not claiming she's the best actress out there but she's improving which is good and who knows she might win award cuz I have seen weak actors being awarded in kdrama/ k industry world.

Manifesting GYJ be the main lead with 16 episodes long.

That’s call an opinion and not everyone agrees. For me I don’t care what role GYJ takes on it just need her on my PC screen right now.
