I don't think it's happy when they both die😰
They will always be together regardless where they are. Their love story reminds me of another hong sisters's drama " The greatest love" where the ML only has eyes for the FL and vice versa.

We will get happy ending in part 2. It's doesn't make sense if they repeat the same shitty story line of killing…
It means that they are not creative enough if they chose to repeat the same stuffs.

If Part 2 ends on a sad/ambiguous note, would that taint the whole show for anyone here?

There is no turning back now as they've already planned. It's either you watch the drama for the actor or you are watching for the story. For me I mostly watched for the cast and I happened to like both female leads. I like JSM a lot but this drama doesn't fit her. I don't feel the connection between her and the male lead here. I have watched all her dramas and her chemistry with those actors have always been superb. For AoS, I only see sibling vibe between JSM and LJW.

It's not about the age different cuz LJW had fantastic chemistry with actress Lee Da Hee who is 13 years older than him.
