I watch this show just to find more interaction between Lin Yi and Esther Yu. I love how Lin Yi pay attention to her.. and when they were quarrel like a kid, but then get back together again like a couple in a drama. It's a sweet CP, but maybe because there's not much different in age, they seem comfortable to tease each other. It's too good to be true but really wish to see them as main couple in drama.
My suggestion: Just skip some parts. Focus on the main couple. It's a bitter sweet love story! Despite of the age gap and infidelity situation, Sakura & Haruto are sweet and mature couple. Some scenes are romantic and worth to be captured for example: the umbrella scene and the staring scene through the aquarium glass. P.S. If you are fans of Takanori Iwata, this is worth watching. His acting become more mature, also Gun chan eyes.. who can resist! He even looks more handsome in this drama!
It's an open ending. But I guess there's some clue that showing the main leads (Sakura and Haruto) go back together... In the last 5 minutes, they show us Haruto stop by in convenience store and grab 1 water bottle and 1 highball beer (it's Sakura's favorite), and he rushback to his car.. meanwhile, Sakura is in the beach alone.. seems like she is waiting for someone. I assume they're going to meet again after 2 years (as they ever made promise to watch the fireworks there together someday). Besides, Sakura successfuly divorce with her husband and manage her own salon, reaching her dream. The ending shows a good ending for others couple too. If you are 18+, I strongly recommend this drama. and you'll love Haruto so much! He is sweet and warm. Gun chan acting as Haruto is no joke. Love the main lead couple so much. It's only 8 episodes.. you can finish it in 1 day.
No matter what people say. I love this drama a lot! I enjoy the roller coaster ride feeling. Love both main leads acting and chemistry. The story focus on how we chase our dream at first, and about how interesting to work in jewelry world. We can see how the main couple start their fate as partner in work, that support and care for each other, solving so many cases together, also gradually falling in love to each other. And then, the story start to be more complicated and getting more serious from the second half of the series! I love how they show the scene where both main leads releasing their stress in their private time like playing air guitar and karaoke. What a match couple!
Love the ending, love Taki and Emi. I know Taki is retiring as actor, but I really hope someday he'll come back to the screen again. Can't get enough of him :)
Finish this drama in 2 days. I love the way they make it very interesting in every episode.. Compared to Squid Game, I watch it all without skipping any part. For me, every scene is totally awesome. Every actor successfuly deliver each character. Salute for their acting, and for the whole production team. The story give me a mix feeling.. it's horror but meaningful, it's a tragedy but sweet at the same time. Love how they bring the meaning of friendship also a slight romance there. The ending is not satisfying enough, some plot holes.. but I guess there's an opportunity to make a season 2 to answer some unanswered mystery. Anyway.. if you like thriller, zombie or action movie then I recommend this mini drama! Love the visual effect, make up, wardrobe and settings. Really appreciate the drama production team. Just go to netflix and watch it at night. P.S. Who says the main character should be very heroic and strong? For me, Ohn Jo is successfully showing a kind heartred, strategical and sensitive character. She use what she has learned from her father to save people in certain situation, for example how to make emergency toilet, and also the scene in music room. She may need protection, but I think it's fine. After all my favorite characters are Ohn Jo, Chong San and Soo Hyuk ;)
Wow wow wow.. it's a very good drama. I feel in a roller coaster ride with the hidden emotion that each character feel based on each of them point of view. It's funny when I watch ep 2, I defent the ML so much.. then I change my mind aftee watch ep 3.. but nearly the end of story I switch my mind to be neutral and change it to my own point of view.. I can conclude.. no one deserve to take the blame.. but no one deserve to claim that they are true too. It's all about communication. And I'm agree.. communication is really the big issue that can turn the relationship either to be good or bad. Overall.. I'm enjoying the story. It's totally out of the box, and I love the way they symbolize the moral of the story to "dried flower" and "home" that represent love and dream. I just not really impress with how they convey the story through every song in the ending part of each episode.. the lyric is ok, but the music itself not quite memorable.
I don't interested to watch this drama by looking it's cover.. it's a boring cover. Also, the trailer.. is not quite interesting. But then I saw some fans made video about this drama on youtube and getting so interested to watch. I don't regret my decision, this is a very interesting drama. I only hope they have several more episodes, so we can see the main couple to have more lovey dopey moments ;)
Tbh...The ending is not really satisfying. Like wth is going on😂. They're on fire.. too hot in the beginning of the story.. but then the intense love is getting soft and softer.. mostly just holding hands and hugs.. like being naughty at first, and then be very careful next. I'm anticipating more, but well.. that's how they become. And..What about their mother? The conflict is not solved yet thou. And.. it's taken a lot of episodes for back and forth struggle to deal with breaking up.. when they're actually so much in love. I guess the title is totally describe everything from the beginning. However.. this drama successfully makes me cry several times.. they are such a wonderful characters. I think they deserve a second chance. I wonder if I can see them again as couple in another drama. I don't think this drama should have a second season if it's continue with the same title. They should change it to Now we're getting married or smth. 😂
I love both main leads.... I feel my heart trembling whenever I see them get in touch. This drama is totally realistic and gonna bring us to a rollercoaster ride. I love the way they put the story to be more dramatical and mysterious with some of slow motion scenes, beautiful close up, and mysterious flash back.
It's like you're collecting a messy puzzles and gotta put piece by piece back in order to get the whole picture. The dilema of love between the past trauma and the new beginning of love are gonna be more exciting mature romance too. So please... They deserve the higher rating! ;)
Love how they convey the famous fashion & life "quotes" in every beginning too. I feel the story gonna teach us more complete about love, dream & passion, family also friendship!
I Love some beautiful scenery, also their camera angle with warm colors too.. The production team really put everything in very details. Their effort regarding the choice of fashion, make up, area, also the drama ost are totally awesome!

I just wondering what's going on with the annoying music background in every episode of this drama.. kinda mess up when they put different music in some scenes. Then, I realize it's not like that if you watch it through the original channel (youku). I guess some people put that musical backsound to avoid copyright issue that can make it getting banned from youtube or any other channels.

I just can say the extra ending was made the whole fantasy story to be more realistic. Since we finally know why the FL can has a unique power to see her heartbeat rate.

However, the whole experiment are using both ML & FL's background and memory, that's why they can still remember each other after when they wake up from the "dream". The heartbeat rate become "zero" is like a sign for "mission completed", and the end of the story for both of them in the parallel universe (dream), to make the story over and going back to reality. I guess it's an experiment about "finding love" or "matchmaking project". We will see if there is second season of the story that probably will explain it to all of us.
After all... the drama title conclude the whole story. "The Only You in My World", means the main characters (both FL & ML) that actually still remain to love each other no matter is just happening in a dream or reality.
