Oh I’m sorry - I hope I didn’t give away too much! I’m rewatching eps 31 - 36 with subs now that I’m done with 37 - 42 :-)

Ep 41 - Wu Lei is so good! The coldness he exuded when he told Khatun what he would do to her if she harmed CG, and then switching to soft mode, smiling so sweetly when CG teased that a mighty Tejin like him would never have noticed her if he didn’t bring her to the grasslands.

Li ShiMin is so sexy - I’m digging his mustache :D

And also sweet were Chang Ge's initial shy reaction and then affirming to her mum that she will visit her with Sun in the future...

Shi Ba and Xu Feng - another cute pairing. Kind of expected it the moment they started bickering. It would be funny if Xu Feng did manage to kiss Shi Ba. Another couple that get more action than our OTP :D

I don't see the link to the clip. Can you please reshare? Haha - I guess you're right - this drama has the tendency to wreck havoc on my emotions so perhaps I should do it in smaller doses. Regarding the happy or open ending, I read many comments about how it could be an open ending and I hate that. I rather have closure, sad or happy than a unresolved story.

That makes a lot of sense. The drama does so well focusing on the actors’ micro expressions and gestures. Hao Du’s accepting smile after seeing LeYan holding ShuYu’s hand - my heart broke!

I just finished A Girl Like Me and the main couple is amazing. It’s more light-weight but enjoyable for me. Less addictive than TLB but I do recommend it.

Rewatching eps 35 & 36 - I’m feeling for Hao Du. He places LeYan’s happiness ahead of his feelings. So annoyed at Wei Shu Yu and his inability to be direct. I like the actor but his character is irritating ?

I know, right? I couldn’t believe it too. How did it jump from 8.4 to 8.9??! I hope it goes above 9!
