I started it randomly because I wanted to have a drama playing so I could fall asleep
got hooked by the first 6 episodes,
thought it was worth following even though it was old...
gave me the "older xianxia" vibe where everyone just acts dumb and unreasonable for the sake of it
tbh it's not unwatchable but I really wouldn't recommend it

if you came into this drama looking for romance, then I'm sorry but it's not for you 😭. it's not that existent. But if you came for schemes, plots, family drama, revenge, you're at the right place. This was a great watch. Chen Du Ling really carried this drama for me. Resting bitch face was in full force ❤️‍🔥🔥🔥🔥.
Can't say this was Xin Yun Lai's best drama because somehow he came across as stiff. (don't know what that's about)

omg. I almost didn't start this drama because of the rating. Another reminder to ignore MDL ratings sometimes and just hold on to the positive comments.
I'm actually really enjoying this drama. Liu Xue Yi really put on a show once again. I've been clapping throughout. This is actually such a really good xianxia, I wonder why the rating isn't up there. I'm on episode 34 and still laughing and cussing whoever needs to be cussed out. 😂😂😂 it has really brought back the spirit of xianxias in me. Love this for real. A+!! 🤭🤭🤭
