The two main leads crying every episode is me. But Im crying over how messy the plot is. There are emotional scenes but the story execution is just not good. It doesnt help that I already got the plot twist right since the first ep😂It was so obvious but its also lazy writing to justify some actionsðŸ˜
Xiao Yu goes from being one of the most hated character to being irredeemable in a matter of 8 episodes💀💀Shes beyong crazy and evil at this point. So delusional that she thinks everyone is against her and using her and making her look bad. Your food reflect who you are so with all of this negativity, I cant wait to see her being embarrassed in front of everyone when she loses to Ke Song. Her loss would be poetic justice. Like teacher, like student😌😌
Ep 21-24 and Ep 25-28 are like from two different dramas lmao😂😂Im gonna pretend Ep 21-24 do not exist because the plot is not moving at all and extremely dreadful. However, Ep 25-28 feel like we are in the end game with all the stories advancing to the next stage. Many characters start to become multi-dimensional and have found their own purpose and motivation. Now the romance plot is still unnecessary and doesnt serve any purpose besides the cliche ‘love makes you become better’. The main leads have many cute moments though I think it would be better if they settle with teacher-student relationship/friends.

Based on my anime watching experience, the semifinal pairs are LKS vs LXY and Blu vs Victor. The final would be LKS vs Victor. Dont know who will win but I think Victor will and LKS will be recognized as a top chef as well
How the hell did they make all the characters in this drama so insufferable?? I know humans are not perfect but to have a group of characters that are such psychopaths and sociopaths over food is really something😂
Qian Fan: he has some real anger and ego issues. He is so bipolar it really scares me. He gives mentally unstable vibe and his character is just outright unlikeable at some point
Ke Song: sis needs to get herself together cuz the vibe she gives me is that she is not serious at all. I know shes a newcomer and just has a few weeks/months of training but she makes me not to root for her sometimes. She wants to prove a point that shes strong and she competes for herself but it doesnt sell. She just looks like an immature kid for half the time and Im glad she finally shows sth but the romance plot feels unnecessary
Yi Ran: dude needs to get it together. His existence in the plot is as shallow as his thinking ability.
Chu Ting: love her character but shes also an afterthought. As a main role, her screentime is practically nonexistent in the first 20 eps and she doesnt have much to do
Elise: I wanted her gone from my screen the moment I saw her face in Ep 1. The voice-over is distracting to watch. I hate her which means she is successful but I just cant with the dubbing. Imagine 40 eps of this. Can someone put her in jail now so I can stop suffering from watching this horrendous level of dubbingðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Lin Xiao Yu: Should have been slapped every episode. Very delusional, to the point it overshadows her determination. Its such a waste cuz she is a strong woman that is capable and talented. But yeah being paired with Boris really ruins her. As if her attitude is not already terrible enough recently
Victor: The only character that is balanced in terms of personality. He is arrogant but his skills back it up. He is more likeable than the main leads for me lmfao
Doctor: a whole simp for Elise and its not like she has any redeemable characters and personalitiesðŸ˜ðŸ˜You are a whole doctor and she legit poisons your friend and patient but you are just gonna let it past please💀
Boris: the fact that he still doesnt realize why he is not the fav speaks for itself. Being delusional is an understatement.
One of the best dramas I have ever watched and one of the best teachers ever to exist in the drama world. ‘Let’s think’ is such a beautiful catchphrase. I always thought its like a kind of way to let them get into finding out who did that or what happened but its actually tied to the whole central plot.
Before you do or say anything, think it through first. Dont let your action or words take the best of you or it will be too late.
This is the kind of drama that I will never be able to forget. What a wild and emotional ride.

My guess is that the SML is the FL’s brother. There are various hints that FL has a brother and from the OP and ED, I think its Jia Hui. The latest ep also shows him follow He Dun’s mother. The vibe I get so far is not vile or callous. Prolly just him being suspicious and mysterious

And K does have a reason to be a jerk, which they explain in episode 2 or 3. He doesnt want the one who chose him in the team to be replaced by someone else. Its not about gender. Its about feelings. In later episodes, hes quite relaxing and does explain that ‘theres no gender differences in this industry’ when they say they have to care and protect her at all cost. He just has low EQ😂😅
I dont know why people keep saying that this one is like Gank Your Heart or Go Go Squid because the are quite different. The only similar thing is the theme, which is about Esport. If you say the other similar thing is love between 2 people, then I have nothing else to say cuz thats so dumb lol. The FL here is actually pro E-sport gamer, who is in an official team. This alone is different from the above series, which mean the dynamics and character interactions between the characters are different as well. In fact, I really like Smiling. She’s skilled, persistent, brave, and stubborn. She’s definitely not just a pretty face. The characters are doing amazingly as well. Their acting is natural and its so fun to watch them interact with each other. Lao K is such a refresing one to watch lmfao. After 6 episodes, Ithink Im quite invested in the characters and the story. I really want to see how the FL conquers the gaming industry and their journey to the championship.
