Watching episode 28 and the mother-daughter scene is so raw and emotional. For the first time, I finally take a step back and forget about the negative moments of the mom. One of the most toxic parents driven by love for her children and also one of the most emotional parent-child scenes I have watched. Love the character development and I have finally found peace lmao

Watching episode 20 and my hatred for the mom goes all the back like I need her to be redeemed real quick my patience is running low lmK

To the friend who lied to me about what happened in episode 19, you are so going to HELL like??? I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THAT

Watching episode 16 and 17 gives me such mood whiplash. Even though she is one of the most ridiculous moms in c-drama in terms of making bad decisions for their children one after another, I still feel for her cuz at the end of the day, she still loves her daughter a lot. But love doesn’t mean she get to decide her children’s whole life. They are grateful to their parents but this is still their life. No one should interfere and put pressure on them in such an outlandish way like that. I know she will get redeemed in later eps and I hope she will apologize to her daughter.

I also want to criticize the dad. Contrary to the mom making all the worst decision, he doesn’t make any decision to stop the madness. Very unserious parents😂

It’s not a healing drama and I’m being a bit dramatic lmao. But it’s my sincere feeling about this: in a drama of multiple characters and I can only like 4 people while hating the rest. I specifically despise parents that think what they are doing is to give their child the best future possible or sth like that so I’m prejudiced as well lol.

MCH, her brother, her bestie and the grandma are the only likable characters in this series like the rest are just so gross😭I’m at the point where I don’t even need the ML to enter the story and I just want to how MCH handles all of this toxicity

The boyfriend doesn’t seem to realize that he’s actually the biggest part of the fallout during that horrendous meal. MCH would have been able to stand his family HAD HE SPOKEN UP LIKE A DAMN MAN. He did not show that he could protect her in front of her family, yet had the ability to yell at his sister RIGHT AFTER HER WHOLE FAMILY HAD LEFT?? You are a lifetime late right there rich boy.

Also the most normal man in the drama is the younger brother. I’m actually more invested in the second couple now as there’s literally nothing to see between the main leads lol

I would like to emphasize that confessing your love or proposing in front of the crowd when you know there is uncertainty and doubt between you and your partner IS NOT ROMANTIC AND NOT A SOLUTION AT ALL. You are basically forcing the other person to comply or become embarrassed.

I have never felt such strong emotions towards a series this much like I live with these characters, I breathe with them, I am within the story and Im watching them grow day by day.

I cant score this series cuz 10 is and will never be enough. The ost alone is a big fat 1000000000000, let alone the whole drama

The ending of episode 27 has to be one of the best ending credits I have ever seen omg this drama has definitely become one of my most favoritest favorite series of all time I love them all so much😭😭

Shen Yao’s family is a hell hole like not a single mentally normal person in that household and I truly expect his brother is gonna suffer just as much as he does if nothing changes. The parental skills have left the dang chat💀

I swear I havent cried as much as when I watched ep 23. This is such a phenomenal drama and the acting of everyone involved is just absolutely powerful

Might have flooded my whole house while watching Ep 18 like why is this drama so sad😭When will I have my damn happy moment😣I didnt even cry while watching Master of Study until the last episode😭

Li Ran in episode 15 has become someone who knows how to chase his dream and works hard to achieve said dream. I love how Shen Yao shows a more lighthearted side and helps li Ran sign up for the Physics competition.

However, I know its gonna be quite unrealistic for for Li Ran to win so I guess hes prolly gonna go through another situation that he might think that life is unfair to him. I hope he can grow from it and become an even better version of himself

The ending of Ep 14 is so emotional and creepy simultaneously💀Im glad we get to know more about Xiao Xiao and her background. Finally a normal parent😭😭

Having parents like these is one of the major reasons why children fail to create their own functional family later on. In my honest opinion, if you feel like you cant be a responsible parent and be able to take care of your small family, its better to be single and adopt a pet or sth (me in the future lmao)

All in all, I truly despise all the parents in this drama, except for the grandma. The rest need to grow up fast I beg I cant do this every episode😭
