DM is getting worse. After using and abusing his subordinate, he's trying to throw her away and pretend that nothing happened. Even though QHL shouldn't have been a mistress, I still feel bad for her and what she's going through.

It seems like she is attracted to DY but doesn't want to start an affair. I'm enjoying the plot right now, and the previews show even more drama to come in the later episodes. I'm disappointed but not surprised that her husband will try to baby-trap her for more control over her life in ep 17.

There hasn't been any infidelity so far, just the husband crossing some boundaries. I wasn't sure I was going to like this because of the comments; however, it's good so far, and I like the pacing of the story. Both leads are great, realistic actors, and have brought the characters to life. Try watching at least the first three episodes if you like morally gray characters and office politics.

If you want an example of her bad acting, go to episode 7 at the 3:20 mark. Either she took a few seconds to remember her lines, improvised, or she was reading off of a cue card. This was the scene that finally made me drop the drama.

Acting from both leads is flat for the most part. It is more noticeable with the FL since her character is supposed to be a rich, spoiled girl who schemes. I had to drop it because the bad acting distracted me from the plot.

It's probably her horrendous acting. She has the same facial expression the whole episode, except for when she widens her eyes to show shock or anger.

Dropped. Not wasting anymore of my time on this horrible drama.

I felt the same way at first, but Love Game in Eastern Fantasy got better after the 7th episode. You should try watching a few more episodes.

I don't usually like Thai comedy but this show is hilarious.

I don't understand why you are bringing up irrelevant things and making straw man arguments. I explained to you that there are differences between European locks and African locks and why the character's hair would be considered cultural appropriation. If you can't understand why some would be upset that a TV show with a 7 figure budget couldn't hire a good hairstylist for their actors, I don't know what to tell you. The way his hair was done was disrespectful to the culture and nothing like the original hairstyle. It is not the same as respectfully, and correctly, wearing clothes/ hair pieces, speaking a language, or going to festivals that people of the original culture participate in.

There's a technical difference between European locks and African locks (how they are installed and the hair texture). The type of locks the character had were locks that are apart of AFRICAN cultures and is worn mostly by Africans/ African Americans. Currently, Europeans and Asians don't wear their hair in this style, and due to the influence of music by black artists, other races are trying to emulate their style (fashion, hairstyles, vernacular, etc.). Stop being purposely obtuse. Nonetheless, the only reason I would consider this to be cultural appropriation is due to the fact that the hairstyle is so badly done and the locks are literally falling out of his head.

The best choice is 17 but they're so boring together. TBH I prefer her scenes with Xiang Liu minus the abuse since his character is more interesting and TJC has the best acting out of the 4 MLs.

I didn't read the book lol. Do you know if he's the ML or if she ends up with Cang Xuan?
