Straight people always steal from queer media and make it straight so straight scumbags like you can enjoy. Stop…
so rude, and then trying to talk about respect. so much hatred against straight people can ruin your life girl. relax

L&P gets MOST flak because a lot of viewers come with preconceived notions of "romance" story... Wanting a plate…
best romance i've seen so far. there was another one but i can't remember what drama it was.. it was so natural like this one! what a work of art this drama is

First of all, when I talked about the importance of detaining power, and particularly about the majority, i wasn't just talking about the entire population, it could be the majority in specific areas, the entertainment industry, for example. also, i made it clear that the majority was one form of power, not the only one.

and i do not expect anything from you, i repeat myself again : i doubt you'd be as committed as you are now. after all, we only fight for causes that interest us.

the problem is not me not standing for your community, it's what you really care about and what you really want inside. personally, i will never take action for the lgbt community, i won't stop you, but i'll defend my own causes. it's the same for everyone. you either follow your reason or your heart, but either way, you always choose yourself first. and for you, the more bl, the happier you'll be, because that's what you like. it's nothing pejorative nor positive, it's just the way it is. i've been trying to be realistic about the world we live in, and about my own feelings.

Like i said 🔁🔁. these are your ideals, it is not the world we live in, not how society works.

i know i said i would not answer again but one thing you said shaked me a little.
it is about your first paragraph, it's wrong. the barrier isn't "general deficiency of innovative ideas and creative vision among media creators and consumers", it's that it's not what people, or at least a large proportion of them, want to see. otherwise, they wouldn't mind producing films with only, e.g. gay people in them. it's business.

why would they do full bl content when most people are not into that kind of relationships?

because your ideas did not convinced the majority. you do not have enough power. if you have power you can do whatever you want, the majority is one form of power. let's be realistic.

maybe one day you'll be the majority or you'll have more bl contents than today (i think there are a lot of them still, it's not like there's nothing), to your delight, and to my dismay. if one day the roles are reversed, i wonder what you'd say. i doubt you'd be as committed as you are now. after all, we only fight for causes that interest us.

not my problem if bl content's creators did not follow their own convictions, i would never add bl or anything else i really don't like in my work or its adaptation, even if the majority wanted it... even if that means no adaptation. in this case they removed the bl content, which made me happy since i could enjoy the series, why should i lie? i was relieved, that's how i felt.

moreover, i hate de idea that we have to fill quotas just to get the same numbers of representation in medias. the majority wins, that's how it's done most of the time in a democracy. that doesn't mean the majority should take precedence over the minority, i know that very well (and yes, it's not just the lgbt community, world is bigger). however, it is logical that there is less representation of minorities or more marginalised communities, in the world or in certain parts of the world. it's like mathematics.

"the cost of your happiness was/is the sadness of others, a cost too high for democracy to bear" why would i choose your happiness over mine? it's like asking me to vote for your political party because you're much less represented, e.g., in terms of MPs. absurd. you live in a fantasy world...

you go round in circles, i feel like I'm repeating myself over and over again. i've said all i had to say. now it's not my problem. i don't care about bl content since it's not something i'm interested in ^^ the end.

It's okay to have preferences, you don't have to watch BL. But it's inconsiderate to rejoice in the removal of…
1) "the presence of BL/gay content doesn't make a piece of media unworthy of consumption or less enjoyable".

— so how is it not the same for BL lovers? just before you said: "censorship deprives them of content they might've otherwise enjoyed". just enjoy the show then, why would you not, only because it's not bl? you really are incoherent.

2) "democracy depends on the free flow of ideas and perspectives, not the stifling of content that doesn't conform to your preferences".

— yeah so respect my perspective then. why would you impose yours on me. i can be happy that something is the way i like. there will always be people with a different taste, so, i just can't be happy anymore? do i have to hide it while all of you express yourselves? do not try to shut other's people voice is what i'm saying. maybe you could use some "accountability" and "introspection" too.

and, also, did i somehow produced this series? go protest or complain to the producers. the drama is here, i liked the storyline, i don't like when it's bl, well good for me it's not, i'm happy, i watch it. that's it. simple.

3) i accepted "the possibility of challenge and criticism", but i did and do not accept judgment and people forcing their ideas on someone.

— i respect the fact that other people have different preferences, but i do not have to absorb them tho. i'm not asking you to accept mine too, just let me express my preferences, as you all did in this comment section.

4) "the responsible use of one's right to free expression requires a consideration of how one's words and actions might affect others".

— anything you say can affect others, especially when different opinions are at stake, what lacks consideration or not, in that case, depends on a subjective point of view. to be more objective, and more precise, the freedom of expression is bound to be restrained when it threaten the other in the exercise of its rights. but i did not disrespect people watching bl, i didn't judge them, i didn't not disrespect people protesting about the removal of the bl. all i did was saying i'm happy there is no bl in this, like some others said they weren't happy, whatever their or my reasons are.

=>Don't expect of me to not say my mind because you're dismayed that this doesn't suit YOUR preferences.

what i think is inconsiderate here, is you restraining my freedom of speech.

i'm happy they removed the bl content, and i have the right to express myself. it would be the same whatever preference of mine it was, e.g. i don't like wide age gap romantic relationships, i've already stopped a drama after the first episode because of this and I've freely expressed myself.

the drama is already out, if you're not happy with it, don't get back at me, but at the producers.

i don't have to restrict my speech because of your opinion. i don't have to join your cause. these are fundamental rights, you should know them. You can't control one's feeling girl.

p.s.: nowadays many series or movies tend to add lgbt content, e.g. Bridgerton, challenging the original story. of course, i was not happy, but it didn't change anything. and now, i too, am deprived of content i might've otherwise enjoyed.

did i comment? yes. did I impose my opinion on others? no. i can debate, i can have a discussion but i will certainly not accept someone to judge my feelings, all the more when i have every right to express them.

I feel bad for her tbh.She is obviously so into him but he seems to actually love his girlfriend,if this hadn't…
Not necessary, he could realize his feelings are changing and that he loves the part time
He seems to love his girlfriend but it also seems like he is developing feelings for the part timer
I think this can happen for real too
