But what I like so far is any misunderstandings they seem to have gets resolved within the same episode or by next episode. I also did like that the ML is trying to encourage her and push her to be brave and speak her thoughts more, instead of holding back when she is a victim of the situation like at her Ex's wedding. 🔥

I so agree on the part that I did not like the ML swooping in. I know he doesnt trust the SML, but it was an unnecessary. His actions instead endangered the FL with driving like that and cutting them off in that weather.
I understand he has history and trauma can bring about irrationality. But he himself is aware of the FL intelligence, and allowed his fear to dictate his actions.
I would've preferred to see how the FL ended the night handling the SML.

@nolatoo your impression of the scene is way out of proportion of what happened. This drama isnt one of those dramas filled with dramatic insanity, have some level of realism of the situation. She was in a difficult situation due to the weather and distance from the city. She was carrying papers and expensive equipment that could get damaged if sitting in the rain for too long.
She's not naive for giving in to the offer for a ride back. She would be naive and foolish for braving the weather when holding on to papers and equipent...

It only became an issue because it rained. Which Mr. Pei saw as an opportunity and put her in an uncomfortable position. Her work diligence isnt the issue here.

She wanted to save time by getting the leveling and measurements documented, so that they wouldn't have to waste time on another day or two getting the task done. She was trying to save them time. She was perfectly cautious towards Mr. Pei as well, and made it clear she was satisfied with her current company so his offer for her to join him was unnecessary.

The actress who is going to play Chu Qiao was the actress that played the child version of her in Princess Agents (in a funny way, she's technically reprising her role). So there's that. Plus because of how similar she looks to ZLY, too. I've also seen a couple of her other roles and she has the talent to be a great actress.But yeah, I can understand the disappointment in the change in character story, as well 😔

I think they opted out of romance because the actress playing Chu Qiao was a minor, or at most 18, during some filming.
