I really really love this series!! Laughed so much it had me crying (and cried ugly tears that I had to laugh about myself). It's nice to see each character grow and you come to love every single one of them πππ (also ep 8 Akechi was too good-looking I'm dying omfg)
well the pacing was just rushed and the production was so weird and totally not smooth?? jumped from dramatic introspective monologue to careless banter in 0.2 seconds; lots of disupting transitions between shots & scenes. what saved it for me was Han Sanghyuk's character, you couldn't NOT love him & the acting was better than in the first season too.
wow the chemistry between these two was amazing, the roles fit the actors so well!! I wish the movie could have been longer :( really funny, sexy and wholesome!
two episodes in and the plot & production are so messy?? please, it doesn't make sense.. I'm only going to continue watching it bc Hyuk's acting is good lol
except for ep 7, this was really touching and heartful and as a queer person my heart hurt watching some scenes... the acting was fantastic, as well as the narration through different Queen songs! So interesting
Yoon Shi Yoon's acting... wow! Really enjoyed watching this, Hani was awesome and I liked the message and the uniqueness of this drama! Also... I really wanted Ruda and Jennifer to meet - aggressive self-love hype girls for Yongshik! ;-;
For a sport drama I felt like there could've been more sport scenes.. in general there were so many subplots that it was hard to develop a deeper interest. The two protagonist were really unlikeable at first, tbh the best characters were the grandpa and the mother x.x A simple and predictable drama for when you need to turn your brain off or just need some background noise (also, we see Kim Doyeon doing the same dance like thrice or four times... sigh)
This was so heartwarming and touching, and sometimes a tear may have rolled down my cheek as it told stories of imperfect humans just searching for their dreams and happiness. This drama makes you feel really warm inside (and you want to go visit a bar).
Well I couldn't care less about the main couple. Found it a bit weird and unfitting that they jumped from Bas' tragic and honestly really sad scenes to James & Ait's mindless flirting, it didn't fit the mood. Marco is simply eye candy lol, at least in the first half I felt like he was pretty useless (but goodlooking). All could have been executed a bit better, the production leaves much to be desired.
The plot of this was all over the place yet so predictable, they really could have organised the storyline better if they wanted at least some tension. Lee Junho's character's sole purpose was to be eye candy but tbh I can't be mad about that lol. The action scenes were good and very pleasing to the eye though. (The only thing I learned from this/will take with me is the fact that middleage Goryeo had trade with Arab merchants. Interesting!)
Woah... there never has been a drama before where I was so torn apart with my opinion about it... Advance Bravely has some really good scenes, the chemistry between the two leads is a solid ten, and seeing the little nuances of their growing relationship was incredibly beautiful! I was also fine with some rather cringey scenes (that's what you have to expect when you watch BL, I guess), but sometimes the plot made literally no sense at all. And the dialogue in those scenes... huh, it was so weird, I couldn't twist my brain around it - what were they even trying to state?? Honestly, that made some "sad" scenes really entertaining bc it was all so hilarious & laughable. So, watch with caution, I guess xD
