I feel you. For some reason, I can’t seem to focus when I watch it. I’m already on episode 9 and still hoping that it finally gets my full attention.

Just finished it. So good!!! If I had to nitpick, I just didn’t like how long some of the flashbacks were that I forgot what’s already happening in the present, lol.

I so agree about the mouth bow, and even his downturned mouth suits his overall features perfectly!

Would we ever be close you and me 🎵 I didn’t like the song at first but it’s now growing on me lol.

I know! He nailed this role. His features aren’t usually what I’d consider handsome, but man, he is insanely attractive here.

SAL fans will come for me for saying this, but I just finished SAL hoping it will get better but I shouldn’t have wasted my time and should’ve watched this instead. I’m just on ep 11 and it’s soooo goood.

I posted the previous comment even before finishing the whole scene, turns out it’s the scene when he realizes he’s in love hahaha the look on his face is chef’s kiss.

Omg I’m just in episode 11, why isn’t this being talked about? It deserves a higher rating imho.

I loved the scene where he saw the ad taken in Yufeng 😭

Comparing acting technique across different characters is standard media analysis. Script quality aside, the performance style broke immersion for me. I’m glad it worked for you ☺️

I’m just on episode 2, but I just wanted to say that I’m impressed with the ML’s acting.

I’m comparing their acting and how natural it comes off based on the character they’re portraying. But to each his own. You don’t have to agree with me, and I totally understand ☺️

Imagine watching this and Shine on Me at the same time, I can’t help but compare the FL’s acting lol. There are several scenes where I had to cover the FL’s face on the screen because I was getting secondhand embarrassment 🥲

ML’s acting made this bearable to watch. I find Esther cute but her acting here didn’t just do it for me. I also agree with another comment that the editing is disjointed.

I’m enjoying it so far. Probably because I didn’t have high expectations. So far it’s 9 for me.

Wish I dropped this sooner. I wanted to love it but it was a disappointment. I’m happy for those who enjoyed it though.

Reality. When I watched Queen of Tears, it felt like it was written by a different person, it’s not at par with CLOY. Don’t even get me started with Lovely Runner & Twinkling Watermelon. They’re not bad but I don’t get the hype and really high ratings. It’s been a while since I enjoyed a kdrama, which is so sad because it’s what has brought me comfort throughout the years.
