I'm enjoying this so far. Glad Fiat is learning and growing from being a little shit in TharnType. All the characters here are great too. 😂 I wonder what type of business the twins Dad is in. Leon is pretty much another Fiat but just.... I want to say tamer. Pob doesn't look like a pushover, so their relationship looks like it will be fun to watch. The fact that Leo and Fiat communicates and discusses things here is so refreshing. I hope this series keeps on this track.
LOL a reality show about a bunch of Korean stars living in an RV. It was entertaining. I just came to watch Yeo Jin Goo. He was so adorable. The episodes with him and IU.....My heart! I wanna see Ha Kyun on next season!!!
And I am at PEACE!!! I had the biggest smile watching this finale. This has got to be one of the best Korean BLs after To My Star. I loved this so much. The characters, story, the pacing....loved it all. I'm going to miss this group especially Namgoong. But they honestly can't leave us on that cliffhanger with the teacher!!!
Ugh, this drama is really good. I need the other half subbed. I want to see how this ends!!!! Those twins man!!! This reminds me of Maid-sama!!! Speaking of which, JAPANESE DRAMA GODS, HEAR MY PLEA. PLEASE MAKE THAT A LIVE ACTION ONE DAY!!!
A Thai version of Hello Monster...Hmm...I'll give it a go. I loved the Korean version. Preferably the brothers and the serial killer. It could've done without the romance.
It was cute. I liked the group of friends. It's an easy watch with no conflict and very funny. Also....foooodd!!! I liked the message. Eat with a guy first before you dedicate your life to him. 😂
"Don't grow up. Growing up is a trap." Hell yeah it is.
I only picked this up to watch for Wan Peng because I love her, but I almost dropped this. I couldn't get into the first half of this drama because it was the most depressing thing ever.
A lush fell in love with a visually impaired, arrogant, lunatic. The lush had a slacker male best friend & a female best friend who had the entire world on her shoulders and they were the second couple. There was also another friend...buttttt....
They all had issues so it was just watching 4 unhappy people trying to make their relationships work. A lot of sad things kept happening, some dumb misunderstandings that could've been solved with a simple conversation, then there was a time skip. This is where the drama started to get interesting for me because the tone of these later episodes changed to a more fun and easy going watch.
The characters began to grow and found their footing. The lunatic male lead is now chasing the lush, so it's all fun with some moments that in the real world, would be red flags to not get into this relationship, but it's dramaland so I guess they were trying to make it cute.
THEN they hit us with THE most shocking revelation in episode 22 that I didn't see coming at all. But the journey to the end was worth it though. It wasn't a bad drama and I enjoyed it. They tackled a bunch of subjects here also. It's kind of a heavy drama with some light hearted scenes sprinkled in. It's also beautifully shot. The actors all did a great job especially Evan Lin, who by the way is simply adorable. He has the puppiest of faces (DIMPLES) and his eyes are like deep pools of chocolate lava. So beautiful. I can see why they casted him for this role since the eyes were the main focus here. The OST is also amazing. I can't get his song "Forever Shine for Me" out of my head.
Also, I feel like this drama was also hinting that something went on between the male lead and the stepmom, but never elaborated on it. P.S the elevators in this drama were the DEVIL I say.
Choke about to be "choked". I kid. Sounds interesting. Yoon's making that money, good for him. This also sounds like something that would've been great for MewGulf too.
I will recommend watching and enjoying this as an action/adventure and comedy type drama. It had a Harry Potter…
The ending is a toss up for me. Either they stayed in the realm with the Elder because she was dying in the real world and as the Elder said, once you're in this world, you can never grow old or die, so LuXian took her there so they can live happily and keep her alive. OR he took her there, got the Elder to heal her and they decided to just live there for all eternity. All in all, if they ever decide to leave the realm, they will still end up dying either way, because as the Elder said with the dog, if it left, because of how long the dog was in the realm, it will turn to dust because it had already lived out its lifespan. So I'm assuming the same will go for them.
I will recommend watching and enjoying this as an action/adventure and comedy type drama. It had a Harry Potter feel, with Avatar: The Last Air Bender fight scenes and a Romeo & Juliet type love thing going on. (the second couple....LOL) Basically it had like a whole race war thing going on.
The female lead simply turned me off from the romance. Mild spoiler, there is a somewhat love triangle, and she marries both of them. The drama will explain why. (It's in the opening credits, so it's expected) I didn't like her. LiXuan could've done so much better. *cough* Wan-er *cough*
If "blinded by love and denial" were people, it would be LiXuan and Prince Mu. Speaking of which, the actor that played Prince Mu is GORGEOUS. Holy crap, I came for Xu Kai, but I STAYED for Prince Mu and those eyes!!!!
Everyone was pretty much using each other for their personal gain. In my opinion, the true villain here was YuLian's Master. If he wasn't in her ear, I feel like I would've liked her more. But I won't get into that.
The second couple had the most tragic (well not really, when you watch, you'll understand) and HILARIOUS ending ever. They kept me entertained.
The best character here was ChangQing. So loyal, so sexy, so silent, so badass!!!! The ending for the leads....mmkay, I don't know how I feel about that honestly. To me I think LiXuan got the worse cop out, but again...foolishly in love.
In conclusion, watch it, the female lead will turn you off, but enjoy the fun ride.
Honestly, it was really good. I loved the comedy and how Wan-er was making friends through food. The downside? They brought in new characters at the end, the romance was minimal, they left the story unfinished, we still have no idea who Yi Ming is and then a new plot and betrayal were beginning and they ended it just suddenly. Hopefully there is a season two so we can get the final product. It was like going to a restaurant, paying for your meal and then walking out before the food came.
He was betrayed by a good friends and outed, which is more than "some stuff" - he had his whole life and sense…
I understand that, he can start over, but start over with someone else. For me, Tae's feelings felt more of admiration. I like them better as friends. Shin woo has been saying how he feels, but with his actions. He's a "quiet love" type of guy. He just needs to muster up the courage to actually say the words now.
I feel like I've seen the "sending the kid abroad and if the long distance makes them forget each other, then it isn't love" scene used in another drama somewhere before.
And just like that So Hee got her redemption. Ahh, what an adorable episode. Shin Woo is such a sweetheart. Da On is bugging me. I know he's going through some stuff, but he straight up abandoned Tae, pawned him off to Shin Woo and NOW, because he thinks he sorted his mess out, he wants to do a 180 and start all over again? This isn't a game of "takebacksies" my guy. Just redeem the friendship at this point.
Edit: Well I caved and put on my pirate hat. I like it.
