I’m a little jealous of the actor who plays Director Mai Zheng Xiong. Shows up in ep. 10. Gets to have love…
šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ I totally had this same thought too. He was pretty much winning to the very end. He even got them to make him a jewelry for his lover.

I've never understood the logic of k-drama female villains. Especially when they're going after the same male lead. Their logic is like, "let me hurt the guy I like. He will then leave my rival and come to me." Um, no, that's not how it works. Sohee seriously does not deserve Namgoong if they end up pairing.
On Be Loved in House: I Do Jul 29, 2021
Ahh, Wayne Song. Also that cameo call back was from a drama they stared in together called Swimming Battle, where they were on the swim team. Came across it when I was going down a Wayne Song rabbit hole.

Argh this series was seriously frustrating and it's over. Good. It wasn't bad, but I wanted to throat punch the leads the entire time I was watching it. Yay for that ending, but it was rushed and felt as bland as unseasoned chicken. The second couple were the saving grace of this drama. (who were pretty much the leads in my opinion) But I got a shirtless Aaron Lai scene, so fuck it.
It looks like there could be a set up for either a special or a season two.

Has anyone who could use WeTV before, been geo blocked by WeTV as of late? I usually got to use the app without a VPN in my country, but as of Monday, all the videos stopped playing due to copyrights. :/

This just turned into a whole soap opera. But Bank & Pitch, hah, I love them so much.

First let me just get my fangirling out of the way.
Seung Heon is just too adorable for words!!!!! I love his cheeky smile. (He reminds me of what Mark Lee from NCT would look like when he gets older.)
I've only ever seen Ji Hye in CLOY and I thought her acting was so wooden there, so I was pleasantly surprised by her here. She's fantastic as a comedic actress.
I love how they keep type casting Ye Ji Won as an eccentric, badass female, who always ends up in really weird relationships. She's great for those crazy, funny roles.
Park Ho San is devilishly handsome. Those suits and that laughhhh. I hope that's his real laugh and not made for this series because it was just too funny. XD!!!!!

Okay that's out of the way, first, there were like a bunch of CLOY call backs and that first 10 mins of the first episode made me not feel bad about how Ji Hye's character over there story ended. This started off really light and funny watching two people go on food adventures, who then pretty much end up liking each other, then it just got heavy in the final stretch. A good thing they kept mixing some comedy in-between. This should've been called "THE RETURN OF THE PSYCHO EXES." This series went full on Lifetime TV movie. The ex boyfriend was off his rocker and the ex girlfriend was just plain annoyingly selfish.

They focused way too long on their arcs. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE in this drama had issues, be it serious or funny. The second older couple were cute & very funny too. I loved them.

The show then started to get really sad with Hae Kyung's issue with his mom, then dark with the ex boyfriend's arc. You don't really feel bad for the ex, but you kind of start pitying him in the end. The ex girlfriend stays annoying, so bah at her. The other supporting characters were likeable and they were so many funny moments on this show.

In conclusion, I enjoyed it, it was a drama about healing, self worth, abandonment issues & moving on, while tackling mental health issues, while still at the same time, getting in a good laugh. Give it a shot.

I mean, if I had one of the guys each from AB6IX, Golden Child, VICTON & PENTAGON vying for my attention, I would be losing my collective shit too trying to figure out who to pick.

This was such an interesting drama. Soo Min shines in whatever she does and the child actors, they were so good. But yea, the ML just disappears towards the end of the series. Like, what was up with that? Anyways, my interpretation of the end is that they met again on the train and lived happily ever after with a couple of babies. The End.
On Her Private Life Jul 23, 2021
This drama was honestly perfect. I loved everything about it. Also, the stylist for this show, I hope they got a big fat raise because the outfits were BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
On Be Loved in House: I Do Jul 23, 2021
What the hell?? I thought with episode 11, they would've resolved the leads and let episode 12 just be dedicated to them being together, but NO!! Another BS conflict we have to deal with now? We're seeing more of the ex being with him than bloody Shi Lei.

Man, I hope they do us a solid and let the second lead either get a win or turn him into the male lead during the later stages of the series.

Da On is sweet and all, but Shin Woo is just.......better. Nam Goong is such a little shit and I love him!! That cake smashing scene and his "Joker" smile when Shin Woo was about to do it was priceless.

The lone female is like every other jealous female in these youth dramas. She's pretty much either going to get a redemption arc and they're all going to be friends or she's going to get embarrassed at some point, about something and then just scuttle into the darkness to become a background character. I'm not really going to pay much attention to her. OR she'll end up with Nam Goong.
On Falling into Your Smile Jul 20, 2021
This was the best binge I ever did. I hate e-sports dramas, but this one won me over. The characters were great, so was the story and the comedy. The brotherhood among the different player groups was great to watch too. I loved TY's & JY's sismance so much. Girls supporting girls for the win.
The leads were also likable, when Lu Si Cheng loves, he loves hard. Wasn't expecting him to be the clingy one in the relationship. They actually talked out their issues and solved them in one go, instead stretching out all the BS of breaking up or misunderstandings. Their skinship gave me diabetes.
K, Cat, Fatty & Ai Jai were my favorites among the supporting casts. Pope was low key in love with Lu Si Cheng. CHANGE MY MIND!!!
But yea, this one is a must watch if you like funny rom coms with a nice set of skinship and no complications. This is one drama that I wouldn't mind a season 2 of.
