Lmaoo, I kind of loved it!!! It was like watching the Scooby gang but everyone is a Shaggy and it had a couple of good jump scares, then it went from scary to sad to happy to Hotel Del Luna. I liked the ending. The editing was shit though.
I had fun watching. And props to them for carrying an entire show with just them and a 4% cast and still having to make the scenes funny and interesting.
I loved the randomness and the chaos.
BUT THEY PLAYED IN MY FACE WITH THOSE NC SCENES. π€£π
I fell asleep twice while trying to watch this show but I pushed through it. I had to sit through 7 bum ass episodes before we got to maybe one of the most interesting plot twists in BL history. Then after that I stopped caring.
In terms of romance, there's LOTS of it. Skin ship was in every episode. This was also a fast paced romance.
In terms of the thriller and mystery, meh. There wasn't much of thrill or a built up of suspense that lead to the plot twist so I kind of had a "huh?" moment when the villain was revealed. (Maybe that was the point because I didn't suspect them at all) This show was actually pretty mellow for a thriller.
Speaking of villain...........LMAO! All that work and for WHAT???!
This was pretty good. It sucks you in the first half, focuses on their movie making plot in the 2nd half and the final climax wraps things up nicely with everyone.
Don't want to hear that Sunflower song again though.....
They ain't do ish but indulged in product placements, while the tourists on the beaches of Thailand in the background stared at them like "what the helly is Fan Xiao doing out in these streets and not tied up in Shu Lang's basement?"
Yea.....But eh, I got to see my lovely weirdos one last time.
We FINALLY got a proper kiss, but this show be playing in my face with those NC scenes. πIs there like an uncut version of the clearly "uncut" cut GaGa version? It also seems like scenes are missing when they transition through them.
But yea, still love this show and still enjoying all the fun and chaos these two are doing. This show is STRICTLY vibes, no plot.
Also, I don't know if it was scripted or not, but I liked how Yim was playing with Tutor's hair and shoulders when they were at dinner with Ye and Yak. That was cute.
Interesting concept, but I found this ridiculously boring but when i was finally getting into the story around episode 5, it was over. I thought this was 8 eps, not 6! π€¦πΎββοΈ
The height difference was the only thing I liked about this.
Wheww, a time was HAD when watching this series. This show was so much fun!! I loved it!!! There was action, comedy, romance. UpPoom's chemistry was everything, supporting characters that were likable and contributed to the story, yes even the cops and the bum ass parents from both sides!!! Sweet little Singto, Tai, Foei, Rose, awesome "Magic Mike" scenes!!
I had a ball and the last 3 episodes went HARD! I swear when Poom cries, you can't help but tear up too. I liked that the big baddie wasn't who I thought it was too. I love a show that keeps me guessing and not predictable.
I hope we get another UpPoom project, maybe just a simple and fun office romcom with Up chasing Poom.
This was a pretty solid dark romance. Based off all the comments and reviews I was not expecting to enjoy this so much but that's a given. I tend to enjoy shows that are rated low here unless it is a REALLY terrible show.
During the first half, I actually liked Kelvin. He was a pretty good villain. I loved this role for Pete and he really showcased his acting chops here. Like with episode 1 &2 where he transitioned from this meek and soft character to a cold and calulating psycho was brillaint!!! As someone said below, you definitely have to watch those two episodes back to back. I enjoyed hating on him. Then we had somewhat of a redemption arc in the final parts....meh
Vier was kidnapped and beaten from the time this show started. He needs some type of peace at this point. Fort has really gotten better with his acting.
Solid ending to this dark romance, but the DEVIL IS A LIAR that I would return to that relationship.
Lavid is probably the most useless character on here. Someone please give Gunner back a partner so he can stop playing annoying ass support roles.
I liked the G/G side couple and Lalyn is gorgerous. She reminded me of BP's Lisa.
Ken, Ken, KEN.....Bro....I gotta watch this special episode next because ain't no way.
It was a nice, action packed, OVER THE TOP, fast paced show.
The timeline is what pissed me off the most because ain't NO way all that shit happened in a span of a year. I dunno what construction deals especially in hotel construction happens in a YEAR!
Nao loved Tiger, but as a friend. Then when Tiger started to like him, Tiger expected him to like him back. This felt like a forced love on Tiger's part, but whatever....BL.
Nao literally said to North he only liked him as a friend. Hell, he told ANYONE who would listen, that he liked Tiger as a friend. He friend-zoned Tiger to hell and back and it looked like a platonic kind of love.
Then things only started to change when he found out Tiger liked him.
I'm sorry, this story felt like an obligation to fall in love with your friend just to shut him up. Everyone's interpretation might be different, but this was mine.
This should've been a 12 ep show where you can WATCH Nao's platonic love start to develop into romantic love, not that rushed final episode but then again, they can only do what they can with the allotted time they had. Plus everything was awkward, the hugs, the chemistry.........
THEN that whole other thing that the brother and Ben had going.........
Also, Daouuuuu!!!!
I loved the randomness and the chaos.

The pool scene with the boys was sweet with them reminiscing and that's that on that!

I still got beef with this man.
The only interesting things about this special were Ken's closure and the girls chocolate, fluffy adorable dog.

JohanNorth & ArthitDao were my favorites out of this entire series.

This one didn't land with me.
