This was SO good. FL kicked ass!!! I loved the mystery and suspense of it. I usually love fast paced Thrillers, but this one kept at a slow pace that still left you intrigued with the story.
The ending was so sweet at how they all ended up as a found family.
Anyways, this was a fawking JOURNEY and dare I say, so much better than Revenged Love.
I can't believe China had to fly all the way to Thailand for us to get a PROPER, dark, romance BL, while Thailand, where BL is practically one of their income sources, couldn't give us something like this??!!! (Just remembered My Stand In. But stilllll)
This show took me through the ringer. Fan Xiao, the reddest of red flags, who was practically on fire and needed a damn shrink, haunted the living shit out of ShuLang til the bitter end. But don't let that baby fool you. My guy Shulang is THE final boss that Xiao had to deal with.
I love that he held his own against that idiot. I wish more MCs and FLs in these type of romances could be more like him.
Xiao broke that man until he was just a husk. But ShuLang, got in his hits too. LITERALLY!!!
Anyways, I don't want to ruin it for the peeps that haven't seen it, so yeah. Great acting especially with the emotional scenes from both guys even though Xiao's face only had one setting, great story and GREAT "strong" (I use that term loosely because it was kind of a mix bag) main character with the most diabolical ML ever.
I was left emotionally exhausted watching these two.
I think this will be my favorite "red flag suffered and watching him atone for his sins" type romance.
May this type of love never find me because my Tesla would've done ran through Fan Xiao and the story would end there.
This was okay I guess. I found it boring for a show centered around yakuza. This would've also worked better as a 2hr movie. Felt rushed. I felt nothing between the leads. Odajima being the lead, felt like a background character. He was just....there.
Dude really sold himself for 2k just to be aggressively kissed, bitten, passive aggressively be waterboarded(?) With VOSS water, fed chocolate and blindfolded because the BDSM was not in the room with us.
If you're gonna play 50 Shades of Nonsense at least make it believable.

I decided to watch this because it took Thame and Po an entire series to watch this and they STILL didn't finish it.
But yea, I didn't care much for it. I did like Yaya's character though. It also felt familiar, then I realized I'd already watched the Taiwanese version with Roy and Tiffany and cried like a baby.
