On Crash Landing on You Jul 23, 2020
Definitely one of my favorite dramas with what I think is a realistic ending. Aside from the political and "inside" look of N. Korea, I also found myself wondering where will this love story end. After some tears and heartaches for most of the characters, I was satisfied with the ending. Sceneries were beautiful and I was also on the edge of my seat waiting for more. Of course it's not a completely perfect drama with a few dry segments, but overall it's drama that I'm captivated most of the time.

He's played interesting characters that is kind of the same sad, nonchalant types which I believe he fits. There doesn't seem to be much dramas from him to see if he'll break out of that mold but it would be exciting to see future projects. I've seen most of the dramas he's in and do find the critiscms to be pretty harsh since from my understanding, he wasn't really trained to be an actor first but to be a singer. And yes I'm aware of his past cases. For people that are curious, take it from a neutral standpoint throughout the case, I implore you to do research from beginning to end instead of reading random posts, blogs, koreaboo type sites. This case speaks volumes on due process, gender stereotypes/generalization, and media play.
