I love the genre and Kingdom as well, and I'm still sore about Joseon Exorcist being cancelled so this is the saving grace for me. Dark Hole has been quite exciting so far and hopefully it maintains the momentum!

This period of Tang is fascinating and, as perverse as this might sound, the Eunuchs deserve some acknowledgment for their roles in this court intrigue lol
After this, I think there'll be a dearth of quality historical productions. Back to contemporary content - too many "medic, firemen, army, police" heroes coming up!

I'm always worried especially when it comes to detective and crime genres - give too much away and it ruins the mystery. Luckily I've had practice with the recent 2 K-dramas that I'd watched lol I love gang dynamics, they're a lot of fun! :D

Sounds like inconsistent writing, The self righteous persona is quite common in a number of productions. I personally prefer flawed characters, they're more relatable and worth rooting for :) Ok, I'll take note of your advice and skip this one to save me the heartache :D
