Sometimes I wish they would just release the entire season like how Netflix does it.

It's hard enough to wait for airing to end, let alone every week for fresh episodes that only leave you on the edge with cliffhangers on weekends.

Hidden Heart is a really good composition and Bibi sang it so well. It's not easy to have a memorable contemporary theme song to match an equally good production.

Interesting point to note - Bibi Zhou also sang the theme song for The Untamed.

Finally, this is the kind of wuxia drama that's been a long time coming. Suspenseful, dark, intense with none of the silliness and contrived childish humour.

Only 5 episodes in but already I have a deep sense of the tone and feel of the show. The martial arts choreography is amazing, which has been sorely lacking in other series of late. Even the closing theme song is dramatic.

So far so good, hopefully the show continues to set the intensity and pace. Fingers crossed.
