It's hard to find a really absorbing and compelling period drama these days. Annoying sexist roles that portray women as weak and idiotic definitely is infuriating.

Some technical difficulties with the audio for episodes 23 and 24, so had to sync with a non-sub website. Hopefully dramacool rectifies this issue moving forward.

I'm glad the way things were left off in 24, no major cliffhanger. On that note, I think I'm going to put this show on hold until the final week of airing, at least. It's so damn good that I can't bear to wait every week for 3 episodes.

My thoughts exactly. This ranks right up there in the category for great dramas.

Hidden Heart is a really good composition and Bibi sang it so well. It's not easy to have a memorable contemporary theme song to match an equally good production.

Interesting point to note - Bibi Zhou also sang the theme song for The Untamed.

Finally, this is the kind of wuxia drama that's been a long time coming. Suspenseful, dark, intense with none of the silliness and contrived childish humour.

Only 5 episodes in but already I have a deep sense of the tone and feel of the show. The martial arts choreography is amazing, which has been sorely lacking in other series of late. Even the closing theme song is dramatic.

So far so good, hopefully the show continues to set the intensity and pace. Fingers crossed.
