Congratulations on your first article, my dear friend!!
Great job, it's very well written, well researched and beautifully presented. It took a lot of effort as you were busy sending invites on drama pages for users to vote on the list and compiling all the data afterwards (and I generally agree with the top 10 list, which I also voted on!)
Agree with all the trends you noted for 2020, it's very true that certain genres were very well represented (eg period detective and investigation) while certain others had less productions during the year (eg Xianxia). A number of new tropes were written (eg role reversals for at least 3 that I noticed) and some classical tropes were refreshed (eg 4 gender-bender dramas in 2020).
And you even included the others at the end that didn't quite make the cut but were equally compelling during its airing run.
Love your article and hope to read more in the coming days! ❤️
Uwu thank you Jey for your big support! ʚ̴̶̷̆ˬʚ̴̶̷̆⸝ I feel so relieved after you said all that.…
No worries, glad everything's ok now and no glitches :) Yup about that, hopefully any time soon now. It's been a long time coming too lol Btw, thanks to your article, I finally realized that SYJ has an upcoming Hollywood production so looking forward to that as well!

Don't worry, it's all good. You're in good hands too because @Cho Na is great at publishing articles and she helped you review it as well :) So what's the next article gonna be on? Hyun Bin or BinJin? :P Looking forward to it!
Bella!!!! Congratulations on your first article :))) When I saw the title, I immediately knew it had to be you. This article has your trademark all over it - such precise and comprehensive details that only a true SYJ fan is capable of publishing, and I knew it had to be you! Love the article and the tremendous effort put it. Well done and thank you for this :)
Then you should watch The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty ;D
I love volleyball too, so it helps in understanding the story. I just watched episode 1, it's not bad. I used to watch a lot of HK dramas so this evokes nostalgia lol I'm familiar with the FL, she's a Canto-pop singer and I saw her in another movie some time back. The rest of the cast is quite young and the story based on teamwork and friendship as well as student-coach relationship is quite well done, so far.
Here's to friendships! They are all-inclusive, ship-proof, no SLS and the like, and they're definitely a joy to behold :D I watched 5 of the dramas featured (Ever Night 1 & 2, Ancient Detective, Qing Qin Zi Jin, The Eight) and absolutely agree, the friendship theme is very well done in them. Hope to see more for 2021! And thanks for the awesome article :)
What a beautiful, poignant film this is. Hope and love endures no matter what you experience in life, and that's what I felt from watching this wonderful production.
I didn't know that about her, but I do know she is KILLING it in this drama. She's lovely & a fabulous actress!…
ZZY is bankrolling this project and she enlisted some of the production team she's worked with previously in films, as well as making the casting decisions. The whole team is doing a great job so far which is why the drama looks fantastic!
Just finished ep 32 and I am just here to say 2 things:--> How dumb and annoying Awu's brother is--> Can the General…
I feel you. I don't really like A'wu brother, and it's no wonder the wife doesn't like him either. Actually come to think of it, I don't like all the men in her immediate family lol Only A'wu and her mum are worth rooting for.
I am very invested in the story so far, I hope it won't fall in the tragedy category like so many big budget C…
I heard from viewers who had read the novel saying that it has a happy ending.... before it reaches the epilogue... Something like that. So I hope the drama will exclude the epilogue part, but again trust issues :O
Ah, I didn't watch The Penalty Zone but I heard that it's pretty good. Yes, I'm quite generous lol. Maybe sometimes…
Omg, I totally feel you! Some dramas have excessive subplots, it's unbelievable how they manage to cram all that in! lol If it's done well, I guess it could be entertaining but most of them time the entire story feels rushed, especially towards the end that kind of ruins the ending :D
Great article! I'm a big fan of Yisa Yu, she's a talented singer. And, I didn't realise some of the actors and actresses sing too! Thanks for giving these awesome OSTs the recognition they deserve!

Thank you for the effort, we need more articles like this.
Keep up the good work!
P.S. I'm a big fan of Zhou Dong Yu too. I honestly believe she's the real deal!
