I love volleyball too, so it helps in understanding the story. I just watched episode 1, it's not bad. I used to watch a lot of HK dramas so this evokes nostalgia lol I'm familiar with the FL, she's a Canto-pop singer and I saw her in another movie some time back. The rest of the cast is quite young and the story based on teamwork and friendship as well as student-coach relationship is quite well done, so far.
Here's to friendships! They are all-inclusive, ship-proof, no SLS and the like, and they're definitely a joy to behold :D I watched 5 of the dramas featured (Ever Night 1 & 2, Ancient Detective, Qing Qin Zi Jin, The Eight) and absolutely agree, the friendship theme is very well done in them. Hope to see more for 2021! And thanks for the awesome article :)
What a beautiful, poignant film this is. Hope and love endures no matter what you experience in life, and that's what I felt from watching this wonderful production.

I heard from viewers who had read the novel saying that it has a happy ending.... before it reaches the epilogue... Something like that. So I hope the drama will exclude the epilogue part, but again trust issues :O

Omg, I totally feel you! Some dramas have excessive subplots, it's unbelievable how they manage to cram all that in! lol If it's done well, I guess it could be entertaining but most of them time the entire story feels rushed, especially towards the end that kind of ruins the ending :D
