Exactly! People love Ram and Kings relationship because it was sweet, healthy and evolved from a basis of trust and a strong friendship. To make season 2 for them be about stupid misunderstandings, jealousy, game playing, etc is out of character for how they were written in season 1. Between Rams family issues, school stresses, possible past trauma which has made him so unwilling to talk (I mean he has had nightmares and got a dream catcher tattoo to help him sleep so I want to know more about that background) they have enough to write a full story without falling back on jealousy and toxic behavior.
