Just started this, who is this 6th girl that keeps calling their mom, mom?? She dresses like a maid, well some of the maids outfit look better than hers. Is she a daughter in law (i think i saw a dead son mentioned somewhere ) if so why is she dressed so poorly?

This man is depressed we can't really blame him. It's just like someone who's suicidal finds comfort in the thought of taking their own life. In his case he's looking for a way out he ain't got the mental capacity to feel empathy for his dying wife whom is one of the if not THE main reason why he's so miserable

It's a revenge themed drama so the romance is almost nonexistent but there's chemistry between the ML and his "love interest" also fun fact she's the first person to recognize him despite the change in his appearance .
The plot is so good tho you won't even care about their love story

I think i might rewatch this. This is the first and only drama where I was waiting for the FL to die and if she didn't die the show wouldn't make sense to me. Because if it was me I would've done the same rather die than marry this wicked man

Ruyi, Yuanzhou, mr Du and the other 4 main guys from the liudao hall know she's a girl. In earlier ep when she tried to escape she pretended to be on her period and asked Ruyi to get her "pads" (well whatever they used in that time period lol) to get rid of her so she could escape easily

I haven't finished it I dropped it to watch A journey to love but I've heard mixed reviews. To me the leads chemistry and wits are great from what I've seen so far but I heard the ML family is trash and the SML and SFL are infuriating so idk if im gonna go back and finish it or not

Not....really...., because the love triangle is not really focused on as the main point tho it plays a role in the SML's character setting ! The SML is the FL's disciple and is obsessed with her (even tho they made him believe that's not her shifu but someone who looks like her, he still "wants her for himself" just because of the resemblance) but he's still willing to work with ML (reluctantly lol). The FL also mentioned how she doesn't like little boys lmao.
There's no SFL so far, don't think there will be any cause the leads are crazy in love with each other and everyone in the delegation is rooting for them even that one chick that wanted to marry the ML as a bargain to give them information
