I love your post. I was a little upset when she leaned on her ex as well, but once I knew what was going on it all made sense. I think that she knew what was going on and didn't want him to find out that way or maybe at all . she seems to tend to keep the negative stuff that goes on in her life a secret. the ex already knew, so there was nothing to hide from him.

It is confusing because the characters are confused themselves.
They are drawn together because of their past lives and it seems that Shin Yu is more aware of it than Hong Jo. The red hand from the beginning is a clue to that. Once he meets her and she opens that box he is drawn to her but we are lead to believe it is because of a love spell. If I remember correctly it all starts to fall together in 12 . Keep watching and let me know if you think it gets better ! :)
