It's all about the wording. Just like the Japanese did throughout their history, he would never admit his own…
''Just like all Japanese..'' ???!!! Are you OK ? It seems you hate ALL JAPANESE ! Hmm... that doesn't make you look good at all. He never denied he was at fault in that accident. And it's not the first time he's apologized. Haters will always hate. That's all what they know to do

People are very quickly to judge and blame the others.
Yes, he did an accident and 2 people were injured. Thank God, no one died, as happens very often in car accidents!
Yes, he didn't stop the car immediately and he continued to drive the car for about 100 m.
After that, he returned to the scene of the accident.
It wasn't like he wanted to hide from the Police but because of shock and panic.
Do you know how it's being shocked and panicked ? You can't control yourself, your mind, your emotions, your reactions, your movements... You don't understand what happened and you need something or someone to get you back to normal before doing anything irreparable.
So, it's not about being a coward, a person who deliberately refuse to do what is right but about a reaction to an atypical event, something you can't control. He has already paid and will pay for a long time for what happened. I just hope the victims are getting better and he'll get help to overcome the trauma. As for him as an actor, he's one of the most talented young Japanese actors so I wish him to don't put an end to his career

Title Last Friends Spoiler
What an amazing good drama. Only the Japanese could do it.
I think it wasn't only Sousuke's childhood trauma the reason for becoming almost a monster. His feeling that she was always with another man was right. It is about Ruka, Michiru's best friend. Ruka was Sousuke's real rival. Ruka was a man in a woman's body and, as Sousuke said, Ruka was watching on Michiru with a man's eyes...a man in love and, almost as possessive and decided to fight as Sousuke is. That drove Sousuke crazy. Michiru didn't understand it. For her, Ruka is a woman and the best friend, always ready to protect her. Michiru talking about Ruka, their calls and meetings...that must have been terrible for Sousuke. While he's hitting Michiru...in those moments he was hitting Ruka. He's mad for not being able to get Michiu away from that man in a woman's body. And he's weak...obsessed with Ruka he wasn't able to understand that what he's doing is wrong. Desperate and humiliated for having such a rival, the only way that crossed his mind was to humiliate Ruka too. When he realized what he did, it was already too late for him to get back to a normal life.

I love this drama very much. Everything is perfect. It's like you're watching people's life filmed with a hidden camera. A very good drama, a beautiful one,,,very realistic. Japanese always amaze me. As many people said, this drama is (a bit) shocking. There're scenes when you can't stop feeling guilty for watching 2 people in their intimate moments but every sex scenes has its importance in unveiling the feelings of the characters.
Many are saying that Wako is a pedophile, a predator but she isn't. All her boyfriends were adults. She had long relationships with the hope of marriage. She is not a woman obsessed with having sex with minors. Not at all. She felt irresistibly attracted to Iko since she first saw him, before she found out he was only 15 years old...and then it was too late to step back,
She started giving him a blow job but that wasn't because she is a pervert but because she had no romantic relationships before. Her boyfriends used her for sex and household chores. There was no love and none of them treated her as the woman they love. Wako was Iko's 1st love but Iko was also her first love. They both had to face a new feeling and learn what love is and how to manage their life in the new circumstances.
For Iko was very hard.. being labeled a child, living with a mother who seems to not be very understandable and loving, abandoned by friends. It must have been very frustrating for him. '' I can't work, I can't even marry...'' You can feel how desperate and angry he is because he is forbidden to do what is normal for an adult. He was desperately running to become an adult but all what he can do is to meet Wako, have sex and spent few hours together in the hidden side of real life because the other side is forbidden for them, as time as he is still a minor. I can understand him trying to get the control over her , his jealousy and obsession and that's not only because he knew about her past relationships but more because he had no access to the part of her life as an adult between adults. ''What those adults are doing there ?'' He has no money, house, a stable and secure life to offer to this older woman who's only goal was to get marry as soon as possible o that she can live a secure life. All what he has to offer her was love. But Wako accepted and tolerated this until she realized that he can't properly grow up living that kind of life together, hidden in a room, isolated from school, friends and society, without the possibility of gaining life experiences and achieving his dreams.
Their relationship is not based only on sex. Sex is important in love but they're more than sex partners. They love each other, they understand each other and can communicate freely, without hypocrisy, sharing their problems, thoughts, dreams, That's what gives them the power to take a break and do everything needed to have a future together.
In my version, Wako and Iko will end up together, few years later.
They finally grew up enough to get the control over their life and to fulfill their dreams. It was hard for her to let him go but she trusted his promise to get back to her and make a place for them to live together in the light, as adults so that she worked hard to help him to keep his promise and their dreams come true. Also hard for him but he knows that she loves him and she'll wait for him no matter for how long
P.S. In the end of the drama, we can see Wako's friend and her younger boyfriend...like a proof that this kind of relationship between a woman and a much younger man can last as long as a relationship between persons of similar age
