Wish someone wrote this comment before I watched it: Even with fairly low expectations, given the reviews and ranking on MDL, I was so exhausted watching this, because the parts I loved I really loved (the bromance, the few good actors which definitely doesnt include the female lead, the cinematography, the strong beginning and back story) and the parts i hate i really hated (the chemistry between ML and FL was crapy, the dialogue was crap, the story progression was crap, and again the female lead was crap).
Just watch it if you are really bored and have nothing better to do...
This is probably one of the best kdramas I ever watched and i watched my fair share lol The music. The acting. The story (both past and present). I found myself thinking had the kdrama been about the past lives only i would have loved it, and had it been about the present lives only i would have loved it. That indicates perfect storytelling. It felt like reading a novel actually by a very talented author, and i get to see the images clearly through the kdrama. Great job seriously.. 10/10
What the show didn't tell us is maybe she got help somehow.
When her brother revealed to their parents that she cut herself three years previously. In that scene, she said she had a problem with cutting herself whenever her dad would yell at her brother. She said it made everything quiet so she can smile again and pretend everything was fine. She also said that she pretended to smile a lot that she started to confuse her own self. It was a brief scene but they didnt address it after that at all. Very annoying to be honest because someone like her should have gotten professional help for sure.
I think the problem is the age difference between her and the male lead. I think it is 9 years or something. And she already has such a baby face... It is ugh just feels wrong

Can MDL change it to melodrama for future viewers? Thanks.
