First of all, Shin Minah is so dayum beautiful!! Huhu. Second, this was such a fun and lighthearted series that you can binge watch in one day. Tho I have to say that the last few eps can be a little underwhelming, it was still wrapped up pretty well nonetheless. I really love Haeyoung and Jiuk's love line. I averted this series for a long time because I thought Youngdae and Minah's pairing wouldn't work. Im so glad they proved me wrong; they became one the most memorable couple in kdramaland with one of the softest and giving off "real" chemistry. It's really really worth the watch. And the second couple are also as adorable.
I thought SHS felt so stoic in her portrayal in this drama, even in romantic scenes. Especially her eye acting, which doesn't really match the cheerful or lovely demeanor she's trying to put. I was kinda confused if it was part of her character as she grew up building all those walls, or did SHS became awkward in her acting. In the last few eps, I realized that it wasn't really until her father died that she was able to show her deep and raw emotions. And right after that, you can see the big shift in her eye acting, which answered all my doubts in the previous eps. She's just really that good!

This was kinda good watch. Wasn’t totally enjoyable because i still feel my blood pressure going up the limit, but I did like the first half of it and how it’s wrapped up. I also cried a bit when it ended, so i guess that speaks for something about the whole series. It’s maybe because i can hardly stomach the ml’s appearance that made this whole thing almost unbearable, but at the same time, it gave me some sort of lesson on how idealism and biases for a lead’s physical look can greatly impact your perception of the whole series— regardless of any redemption they do. That’s the case with me on this series. Altho the ml was just irredeemable in all aspects, if we’re gonna think of them as a real family and him as someone the Fl genuinely cared for, then you would understand my point (or so i hope). Despite everything, im glad i finished this one 🥹❤️
Someone said this looks like Park Chanwook took melatonin and had a dream hahahaha. This was a bizarre experience for real, but a vvv good watch nonetheless. This may perhaps be my best watch for a long time ❤️

2 months in and imma just say that getting into Yum Jung Ah’s filmographies has been one of the most marvelous down-the-rabbit hole experience ive been into in my years of being a kdrama fan. It’s been 2 months since I decided to dive more into her works—whom I surprisingly haven’t watched or remember watching before (i say this because i loved kactresses and have watched hundreds of kdramas)— and I can already confidently say she is one of the top best actress to reckon with. It’s only been months and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed her works and already finished half or more of her films/dramas/variety show. Im looking forward for more of what she can offer ❤️❤️
