they married him , but can never be close to him even his Empress, Xing yun. from what I remembered, Xing yun tried to kill Xiaoyao because of her jealousy. So it explains a lot , he married them for power purpose not love. He still needs Xiaoyao to talk their hearts out and he became somewhat crazy when he ask Jing to be killed . unacceptable but Jing is Jing. He knows that too well, but of his kind nature he let it slide. Jing isnt stupid in fact he is smarter than CX. but they wanted the same woman.
