Hi! I'm Lin — nice to meet you!~
I've been into Korean and Japanese dramas since 2012. My first Korean drama was Dream High, and for Japanese, it was You Taught Me All the Important Things.
Over the years, my tastes have evolved, and I’ve gravitated toward narratives that are emotionally rich, socially aware, and often tinged with melancholy or moral complexity.
I’m especially drawn to historical epics, psychological and character-driven dramas, and noir-tinged thrillers. I’m fascinated by stories that explore social issues, human resilience, and the delicate intricacies of family and community life, while still allowing space for the nuanced portrayal of love — particularly relationships shaped by adulthood, growth, and the weight of life’s choices.
Romance rarely needs to dominate the plot for me to be captivated. I value how a drama can portray love as one thread in a larger tapestry of human experience, whether it’s quiet, painful, or transformative. Lately, I mostly watch Korean dramas, but I’ve also begun exploring Chinese dramas, drawn to their expansive historical narratives and the way they depict complex social and personal dynamics.
