I have been spoiling myself with Leyan and Hao Du scenes for the upcoming episodes D: they are too damn adorable
I’m so excited for them to meet, I can’t stand to see Le Yan suffering anymore. I'm excited to see more scenes of them and the development of the relationship between them.
I'm in episode 24 and I still can't get attached to the main couple, I don't feel romantic or chemical vibe (my opinion), although the focus of the drama is not romance per se, but anyway, I like the main characters and I want to see their growth. I am looking forward to the shipp HaoYen (Hao Du and Le Yan) I am motivated to watch until the end for that. Dilraba is wonderful as ChanGe, Lusi is adorable and exciting as Le Yan and Liu Yu Ning as Hao Du won my heart ❤️
Can you spoil the ending for me? I really want to watch this drama but I hate watching dramas with no conclusion…
That's why the drama's low rating, because of this ending (although I understood why and the drama has given evidence of why). In the end we don't know if she decided to go with the master or if she agreed to stay, so I classify it as an open and ambiguous ending, we can interpret it in many ways But I believe that she really left.
Xianxia dramas usually have gods and immortality right? (I'm still learning to differentiate between different types). Dance Of The Phoenix has cultivation, the possibility to ascend and become immortal (however it is not something explored or the focus)and struggles with cultivation powers.. I believe it is a Wuxia drama.
My heart was aching for Le Yan's suffering and now in episode 14 my heart breaking and I cried for the death of A-Dou ╥﹏╥ This episode was very emotional and the performances are wonderful.
I watched some of his works and I feel that they always give him the same types of characters, and end up not…
Lusi is wonderful in The Long Ballad, I’m watching because of her and Dilraba. And for the shipp between Le Yan and Hao Du. Yes, China has a tendency to stereotype actors, which is bad by the way as it often does not give space to explore the actors' ability to act.
I'm in episode 7 and the only thing that keeps me stuck in the drama is the shipp between Li Le Yan (Zhao Lusi) and Hao Du (Liu Yu Ning). I still don't feel chemistry among the main leaders. ChanGe is very strong, decisive and intelligent (I love it), and I want to see the evolution of Li Le Yan and Hao Du, they are promising characters.
I watched the first episode now and just loved it, it looks very promising. Dilraba's character is very strong and interesting and Lusi is very cute. The OST is perfect, Zhou Shen always wonderful with his angelic voice.

You're welcome. Despite all this, it is a pleasant drama to watch. FL is charismatic and strong, ML is not my type of character (matter of taste lol), SML is beautiful, adorable and very interesting and has a very cute secondary couple.

I would love this ending for them. I think they combine more and have a lot of chemistry together.
