I would have liked a couple more episodes. Give a resolution to the family conflicts, re-establish L&P as Lighter & Princess, and have the baby. Otherwise, great series.

Hot damn, Esther Yu's character really got the ML's blood pumping. Such a tease. Combined with her near perfect mix of cuteness and sexiness, hard for anyone to endure. Overall a great show, but the parties/racing extras were super cringe, which is my only complaint.

Hidden Love was a teen's romance story, this is an adult's heart-wrenching romance story. My goodness, the feels are deep and real.

Hot damn this starts out depressing as hell. I am tearing up. Good on Sang Yan for end of episode 2.

I agree. I would've liked more of the murder mystery games. It was more of a side gimmick than anything. Could've been a book club instead.

The writers and actor for Pei Zhen did a great job. I actually pity him.

The birthday dinner in episode 17...would never happen like that.

Sounds like the party doesn't want wuxia/xanxia dramas either. Pursuit of Jade is one thing, but Veil of Shadows was even more reliant on visual appeal and not grounded in reality. ZLH looked plenty masculine and imposing with his visuals, expressions, and acting, IMO.

I don't like Miles, so I wish it were someone else paired with the gorgeous Jin Yan.

Such an enviable family. I also want 5 daughters and a son. I love the dynamics in the sister group and the brother-in-law group.

Ju Jingyi is ridiculously seductive in this, especially her lips.

I like the ML. IMO, his voice and intonations are his strengths. He plays similar characters in his past 3 or 4 roles, and has a similar vibe in each, so perhaps his acting and facial emoting can be improved. But I really like how he speaks.

Kinda feeling the urge to watch for the 3rd time.

Skipped through the last 20 episodes. Pretty meh. Doesn't deserve the 8.6 rating, IMO.
