if feel like it's not at all connected to Season 2 but just to create a 2 min suspense the writer gave us the hope becuz it might happen that when I person is sleeping his conscious mind is still awake so maybe for that reason he was awake.

so far the best character in my opinion. becuz it showed that how bad he wanted to survive

maybe they just didn't want to end like all the other series end. but somehow it gives the watcher a hope for Season 2

Exactly without ji tae even he was nothing Ji tae was everything. For me he was the heartbeat of the whole show. If I was in Hyun soo's place I would've blamed my self really bad😭
