Han Tae-Sook is the true protagonist of this drama, change my mind LOL Idk what happened to this drama... so many leaps of logic.. I can't believe this is from the same people who wrote and directed WATCHER.
He didn't act in Beyond Evil . It was Shin Ha Kyun . What Beyond Evil you mean?
No, I was saying Beyond Evil and Hometown were both thriller dramas that came out in 2021 (with stories centered around a small town). Just pointing out that I loved that thriller drama but not this one.
4 eps in and i think im going to be dropping this show. The accent plus the way everyone talks super slowly, its like they're trying to get a 2 minute conversation into 10 minutes. It's a shame because I love YJM and he's one of the main reason i started this show. I loved Beyond Evil, but i cant stand watching this for some reason.
Just finished the last episode and, tbh, it kinda sucked. For one thing, the show just ran on too long. But more…
When that guy cancelled his plans to visit his own SON to chase after the main villain or whatever i lost my mind. Like sir, what are you doing????
Sigh, I would be fine if he donated that money to the contestants' families (like i keep thinking about Ali's wife and kid... poor man), if you're so disgusted with that blood money may as well use it for someone else. But he kept it for himself for a year (??) before giving it to Sae Byeok's brother.
I would have prefered Kang Sae Byeok winning it rather than Seong Gi Hoon. Episode 6 Gganbu STINGS a lot goddamn.
Yup, me too! When I saw the final three i thought the two men would end up killing each other leaving Sae Byeok the winner. Plus out of all of them Sae Byeok had the most attachment to the outside world--she had her brother, her family in NK, and she still had to pay to smuggle them in again. I was dissappointed in the final battle. it turned out to be super cliche.
I dont agree with many saying the games were too dull and mild.I actually loved how they incorporated traditional…
This genre of 'play X games and win Y absurd amount of money or die' is nothing new in manga. Compared to other existing titles with similar genres, unfortunately its just not bringing me as much hype or tension. But of course, i gotta hand it to the drama crew for the superb cinematography! Everything looks amazing and framed so meticulously.
omg i havent seen the drama but the fact it's rated 9.0 but the top reviews are around 6 is so fascinating, i dont think ive seen anything like this in other drama in MDL.
They don’t explicitly address it, just that KMJ was the one behind managing that piece of lot and that he targets…
Oh right, I remember KMJ has the key to the farm right....? It's just weird that that one plot point wasn't explicitly addressed. Anyway, thanks for the answer!
I wish they had a character diagram or something because my single cell brain is getting confused with all these collusion happening between them....................

I am loving this premise so far!
- He resigned so got no protection whatsoever
- He called OJT and TOLD HIM he has evidence that can bring both of them down
All red flags. I'll be surprised if he made it out alive.
Honestly though I was too distracted by his eyebags.... they really stick out for some reason.
