All of these series's are considered happy ending in some sense because mortals lives for like 100 years where on this concept they live more than that. And it is expected for everyone to die still since even gods die. Thats why I consider the endings as HE for all the series

As someone who's learning korean history, language and culture now. I saw a comment that its sad because they cant stay in Joseon era. Joseon era where mortality rate for babies is 50%, constant palace turmoils, sanitation is questionable even in the palace. Id rather see both of them in the modern world. Hahaha
Why people love this becuase Lurang is an ideal guy. A total green flag. He never allowed his girl to feel that she is not enough. On the other hand whatever Lurang's shortcomings she is filling it all. A perfect drama I would say. Not too much conflicts.
