After thinking of VP for the last few hours I am here to share my thoughts concerning some things about the finale.Let's…
Yey reading time >grabs coffee
I was surprised to see Kimas one of the key characters, but it makes so much sense. We know so little about him and I think his investigation is about his father’s past, like Nam’s story is just another piece in his own puzzle. Maybe what Kim is looking for is exactly what Kan died for. Kim seems to be the only brother who knew his father wasn’t dead so he has extra intel in the house too. We don’t know what motivates Kim, but I wish he is doing that not only for himself but for his brothers as well.
I liked how they put the versions of the events for us to see the mindset of each character in the scene and how you discussed it. Korn was cold as always, Kan was desperate and emotional. Porsche’s pov comes to confirm things… There’s no doubt Kan is telling the story closest to the truth and I agree, although I hate him, he is less rotten than Korn. Porsche’s mother being alive amplified her role in the story for me. In the novel, you knew Korn was a freak because he had her body preserved, but here he held her captive smh… Why would anybody ever do that if not out of strong feelings? Adoration, love or hate? Does Korn have feelings for Nam? Is she the real heiress? Is she a fake? Why would they massacre her family? Did she reeeeally lose her memory? So many good questions!
The way you got Korn’s lines and associated them with his possible intentions was sooo good, we don't get to see much of Korn's pov in the series so to see his manipulation is easier now. You nailed Korn’s plan perfectly, the bastard didn’t even lock the door. Now that I think about my own theories, I guess putting Porsche in charge of the minor family will be his ruin. I agree Kim sees through his father but I also think Porsche and Vegas do it to some extent. Korn aims to control the minor family but he’s placed Porsche, who is the heart of Kinn and Chay's brother, so that also impacts Kim, together with someone who is not easily manipulated by him, Vegas. I’m not even going to mention Pete. IDK but I really look forward to seeing them like that, kicking Korn’s ass in s2 (or book, or my dreams).
I loved your analysis very much bestie! I'm glad we were left with so many things to discuss, and a bit sad some ppl just tagged them as plot holes…
yes! I guess someday Kinn will have to choose btw Porsche and his father or be confronted with the truth and Idk that will be painful, for Porsche too bc I (wanna) believe he knows Korn is lying.

we have enough time to get tired of our own theories...
