I really like Kiyoi, I guess I could relate to his immature actions. He is super lonely. And Hira god, so lost in his adoration cannot connect the dots and see Kiyoi's love. I really like the dramaCD bc of this part, it is sad it wasn't fully adapted and I wish I can read the novel someday (especiallu the part where they are a couple).

Yeah, I don't think Hira is a bad person either, he is just obsessed and hopelessly in love, with god Kiyoi. I really can't blame him, plus this is first love right? Self discovery therefore intense. That is why this series is so good!

As a new found fujoshi who lived in the manga world for some time I really don't get these puritans, like, this is still sooo far from being dark and dangerous close to what we have around. I feel, as some people pointed out, it's a generation thing I guess? People like to label things toxic and to cancel people/characters and I truly believe they did not get this gem at all, especially Hira bc he is an actual creepy stalker (that I still like), they just chose to be blind and hate on Kiyoi.
