Beautiful movie, the world of kabuki is so bewildering, I was surprised by how dislikeable most of the characters are (except by the kids/teens). Good acting but I really felt emotion was lacking given how the relationships developed and especially in the moments of tension between Kikuo and Shunsuke. My favorite parts were when Shunsuke leaves while Kikuo is performing (the parallels!!!) and the end arc. The true gem in this movie is Kurokawa Souya, I knew him from Monster, and once again I'm blown away by his acting! 8/10

They are so cute in this and I guess I have a soft spot for Shoma. I dropped the Thai version but I really like this one, tho not fully understanding a lot (Im still in ep3)
