Not sure either but definitely sounds like them yeah?
I found someone on Reddit saying it's them - Official Theme Song šµ āBaumkuchenā by The High-Lows cover by Mitsuhiro Oikawa, Yuya Tegoshi, & Tamaki Shiratori ---- so cute!
Not my favorite adaptation because I dont rly like Ninako or Ren casting. I dont feel the tension when they are together, maybe bc this Ren does not look at Ninako with longing and curiosity idk weird to me...
THIS WAS SO CUTEEEE, finished it and this is all I look for in romance, great acting and cute love story. Plus the mental health issues discussed were very interesting. 8/10 It was not perfect, the story feels a little plain like everything is fixed too easily and they are all such good people and it fails to explore some areas, for example Sosuke's background, his relationship with his father and cousin. You can also see the safe choice in the dynamics of the pâtissiers, in real life they would fight. You'd expect the leads to break but that does not happen and what they deliver is still pretty tame. In the end, the whole company board thing feels out of place, again because the conflict was not well built. Still, it's a super duper easy watch for me, I love Shun Oguri's acting and I've missed him in romcoms. If you liked this go and watch "Rich man, poor woman" with him and Satomi Ishihara.
