Gay baiting is where you have two straight characters intimated together to add quasi gay titilation. You might feel like the image is making a promise in the story, but that still does not fit the term gay baiting. I am actually not espousing the virtues of the show, but your use of terminology. This is a gay show, the characters are gay. We aren't being given gay adjacent characters.

I don't feel baited at all. Just because you don't get that steamy scene that you want doesn't mean it's gay baiting. The whole show is about a very pointedly gay topic.
