As an LGBTQ person your comment makes me uncomfortable on so many levels. I really think you should educate yourself…
I'm queer?? So this comment is about my community, my people, my brothers and sisters. Homophobia should always be challenged so that people know that it's not okay. I do think that it is important to care about how other people feel, maybe try some empathy. I think this is becoming a really negative space so I won't comment anything else. I hope you can reflect on yourself. LGBTQ people like me are discriminated against, attacked and even killed all over the world for who we are, forgive me if I am a little sensitive. Calling me an attention seeker was really uncalled for, I was calling out what I disagreed with and getting personal is quite frankly really low of you. Shame on you.

Please do not ever refer to a woman as honey in a demeaning way again. I noticed based on your writing that English is not your first language, but this can come across as very sexist to a lot of women. I think we're just gonna have to agree to disagree but I definitely do think that you should try and understand that my perspective is just as valid as you. I live as a gay woman and I have a degree in Sociology so I think I understand how internalized homophobia works, but thanks for mansplaining to me. Media is how people learn about society. I think that this conversation isn't helpful so I won't engage with you from now on I just wanted to make sure that anyone else who reads your comment and finds it offensive understands that it isn't a view that should go unchallenged.

This story is so refreshing. I really think characters like Nagisa are important because they really speak to the impact of homophobia on individuals. Nagisa for me is definitely not a villain but a victim of heteronormativity. His character is so realistic and really speaks to me of some of the issues I have experienced as a queer person. Very well done. I loved Shun's character as well, what an absolute sweetheart.

So? Internalized homophobia is here and it's real. Those kind of comments are also pretty sexist as well making some real assumptions about women's sexual passivity. This is coming from a queer woman and feminist who is very involved in activism. The fact that you identify as a gay man makes your comment way more concerning. My point that you should seek to educate yourself on LGBTQ+ rights still stands. I really do hope you learn more about our community, history and why that kind of thinking is so harmful to us all. Genuinely, I wish you all the best.

Its weird to watch Shun taller than Nagisa, usually the taller guy means seme. And i tjought that Nagisa was seme…
As an LGBTQ person your comment makes me uncomfortable on so many levels. I really think you should educate yourself before making comments like this that are so heteronormative.

There are LGBT characters for straight people and then there are LGBT characters for LGBT people. This movie is an example of the latter and if I see one more person call this a "bl" I might actually cry
