My opinion for August is different than that all of you. You can come with all the excuses you want, and one will always find an excuse to blame someone, if they have too.
Don't worry, what August did was wrong, but the question is did he do it intentionally and knowingly or schemed it, plot it, planned it or try to harm Day? I don't think so.
Imagine they had rough past, because of rivalry, then they became friends, close friends, partners, August didn't know Day liked him. or nor August did any harm or was bad to him in past It is now that he got to knew.
And situation was much different, like not ordinary, he saw his friends in this state, felt pain, heard his confession, he wanted to do something, and he choose to do this which as a viewer not right, but in that very moment he must have thought this was the best, so he did, like try to force himself to like him, and kissed him, not all kisses are consider as violation of trust, Day kissed back, but August couldn't come to like the idea that he could continue so he behaved like that, does it make him a bad person, no not at all, he made a bad decision out of pity he felst for Day, which he shouldn't have done that but he thought this was the best he could offer.
Don't bash him too much, he is not bad until they show him as bad egg later on, don't blame him. For now in my eyes he didn't do something unforgivable, he can be forgiven, he did it out of sympathy but a wrong move thats all.
I am gonna love that younger sister love line with that photographer, because her daughter will add magic to their story and will act as shipper. The boy and daughter gonna have fun.
Hope those two bustards are backlisted from industry.
Regarding SML, I don't feel anything, as he has done many jerk roles in other series (actor is superb) but he gives face to characters, so I can't sperate his face from characters, of course no hate or bad stuff to actor, but when I think he has littered so much onscreen with his nasty characters, this one good role won't change my mind.
Also the elder sister power role with his weak husband, they gonna go back, also love that couple as well.
love your name, Gun is a true legend of BL industry, in his career spanning of 23 years, he has done it all. The most prolific and experienced actor in Thai BL industry.

Rant: As much as I like Day to see again, but for some strange reason, I feel if he were to have new eyes, the magic of this creation will not be no more. Don't get me wrong, I would die to have my love one give what they truly need...but the beauty of any real thing only lies in heart. I know it sound bookish, fantasy and novel-y but think about it, their imperfection is a absolutely breathtaking. They complete each other, no, they compliment each other. The purpose of this should never be him getting operation or eyes but something they created out of this adversity.
Not all things needs perfection, happp'y'ness can also be imperfect, you can also be happy and not everything has to be perfect. I don't know if that make sense or you guys can relate to it.
