♡ started my Asian drama journey in 2020 and somehow this innocent little hobby turned into a full-blown personality trait 😭
♡ I’ve watched K-dramas, C-dramas and a few other Asian dramas, and my watchlist has officially become a problem 💀
♡ most of my drama era happened around 2020–2023, but I’m STILL discovering new dramas and adding approximately 500 more to my watchlist every time I finish one 😭

♡ characters making obviously stupid decisions just to stretch the plot
♡ female leads who lose their entire personality because they fell in love
♡ 40 episodes of unnecessary misunderstandings 😭
♡ dramas that take forever to actually GO SOMEWHERE
♡ beautiful actors cannot save a terrible plot, sorry.

♡ Everyone can have their opinion but if the chemistry isn't chemistrying, I WILL notice.
♡ Cute romance alone isn't enough for me. I need a reason to actually care about the couple.
♡ Some of my lower-rated watches include dramas around the 5–7/10 range, especially when the romance felt flat or the story didn't have enough tension.

9–9.5 = obsessed, would recommend immediately.
8–8.5 = REALLY good and worth watching.
7–7.5 = enjoyable but something was missing.
6–6.5 = cute but probably won't remember it forever.
5 or below = girl... why did I finish this 😭

I started watching Asian dramas in 2020 thinking I was just going to watch a few shows.

Fast forward to now and I have a giant watchlist, way too many fictional crushes, opinions about chemistry, detailed ratings, favorite actors from three different countries, approximately 700 dramas I “need to watch,” and absolutely no intention of stopping.

If you love K-dramas, C-dramas, good chemistry, emotional damage, pretty cinematography, strong female characters, good OSTs, insane plot twists, romance, tension and screaming at your screen...

we're probably going to get along. 🎀
