After EP08/09, I can clearly see FL life is going to be hell because of her parents as well as the tragic fate of ML.
Her parents are high profile people in education sector, that has authority over schools and universities. Their position or title will never be explicitly mention (hence CPC) other than her father being director and mother being teacher but they have enough power to throttle people around.
Li Xun has always been innocent, but people has looked down on him all his life, despite his exceptional abilities, because of his house situation. And his high school scandal was also, obviously, happened because he tried to cover someone else mistake. And FL mother expelled him. So situation is already worse to begin with.
Coming we will see, how ML will try to avoid FL but will end up confessing and how FL parents will try to separate them.
Not to mention the FL who punished her senior through her parents help, will eventually be a part of revenge against ML that put him jail.
Preparing for lot of angst but anxious moments.
But I just love second FL she is a goal. She knows the true meaning of life, and she dejects herself from falling into fake things. I love how she told a boy, “Don’t change yourself for anyone. It’s not worth it”, these are some billion-dollar words spoken. I know she likes the boy, but because the boy is so good to say no to anyone and treat her as if he doesn’t have self-respect makes her reject him more. They will come around.
Why this is slow, I feel by the 9th episode they are releasing very slow. And don’t know when second part will come. Because can’t wait, as it is ending on a sad note, need part second immediately.
I think the grandma is projecting her own insecurity about not being a queen, herself. Thus, she doesn't want…
She was concubine but she did become queen after murdering other princess.
Now she is grandmother, it is obvious she can't be Queen.
She is not protecting King, it is because she couldn't keep Queen under her control. As Queen is fearless, daring and challenging, that makes Grand Queen hatch a plan to make 2nd rank concubine son to be Crown Prince, so Queen loses her position, and grandmother once again control the court and people.
I don't know about people...but this is some good stuff, each person acting is plausible. even if ne not performing good others performance covers that bad part.

Name lonely childhood was saved by Em, how could he not be obsessed with him, he literally is the only person for he exist and now he is apart, Name is loosing, he is suffering, the silence that Em use to turn into words is no longer there, and he is breaking.
This drama is worth it, because ZJY can't give a bad performance even if she wants to.
I see lot of heart break-up coming in leads way, and since we know the middle already, end is not all happy and lovey dovey as well.
I am hoping for a happy end, because I don’t see why they can’t have happy ending.
The worst part already done and now the past is being shown to what lead to that point, but since we already know what happened after the worst part, the end is unknown to us.
It is a typical plot yet satisfying. Up until 08 episode, they are progressing very naturally, even though I don’t like such boy and girl, where boy is all A+ in everything he does, even the fart coming from him becomes perfume, and a girl who has natural talent and good nature, becomes a target of bully, whom we are shown as love, “no one can bully, only I can”. How but you take my finger up in your arse.
I will condemn such lazy writing, but sells, as people buy it, fantasize it and gush over it. So no writer to blame alone.
Having said this, it is addiction, every addiction is bad, and that’s why you are addicted, so I am addicted to it, although I am cursing ML with every episode.
I don’t expect much, coz lot of angst and stupidity coming coz of ML stubborn nature and pride.
