I am pretty sure JHJ and SWJ had known each other before GHW came into picture. So when JHJ met him again, you see how quiet they were and how bold he was approaching her and their silence movements spoke volume of their past.
I get it...The story is simple yet it is very profound, mature and not some infidelity rivalry between two women. GHW feels betrayed by JHJ, she may be not hurt the fact that her fiance / husband might had something to do with JHJ, but the friendship and love she had withJHJ was betrayed by the lies they weaved behind her back.
I love the landscape and cinematography of this series. One thing more...GHJ as an actress in this series is flawless...Her bareface and nearly without makeup...feels honest and vulnerable.

But he is now turning into pure evil. He has finally shown he is just evil. There is no great philosophical shit he is spewing all this time. The way he has thrown his cool and now he has also started showing hate... Made him very ordinary and simple...contrary to first half where he literary spooked the shit out of me.
I have goosebumps while watching this series. It is very well made and written. I hate writer for his misconduct, hope his burn in his agony forever, but he has written something that is going down in history.
It is very important for LGBTQ films to have happy endings. When in reality the suffering is too much. Sometime you just want to escape from reality and settle in wonderland of your happiness.
This series is just a normal series yet it warms the heart.

She was rich, thats true, but I think he had to do on his family orders...he wasn't bad, and not evil, as you saw how he used to treat her... and certainly he wasn't in love with someone, he married someone else and got divorced. He also had to sacrifice, for sake of money or family business....we don't know but we know he wasn't cheater or bad person.
you should have mentioned Killer, the film that made him who he is today, whether people like that film or not, it exist and it is not for wanna be critics...
It is very clear that SML was forced to leave her. And he did so for her sake. But the truth is he choose the wrong way to save her, and ended up taking too much from her.
And he is too late, but he will play an important role in making her stand on her feet again, and then he will leave for good.
I am just wondering, where did that watch go... is the director planning to have her give it back in last episode or what... because that watch watch is really important, it developed the whole plot... lol.

Excellent first 2 episodes, typical, but it give neo-noir vibes, because of the lights and setting ... really loved it, revenge and on that FL is in charge...superb. Gonna finish in one go.
