If I'm not wrong, the 'master' who Min Yan spoke to is none other than Di Lang, the right hand man of the Leader of Tian Xu Tang. In previous episodes he managed to get some blood after his fight with XJ's father. With the blood, he's able to transform into the person the blood belongs to. I'm sure Di Lang instructed him to join Tian Xu Tang to help them get all the spiritual keys.

I saw a thread on weibo that says that at the start of all their past nine lives, SF never once drank the 'forget it all' drink (the drink everyone must drink before reincarnation/going down the mortal realm). It is only before they went down to the mortal realm for the 10th lifetime that SF said 'forget it. Let's forget everything'; insinuating that this time, he wants to forget everything and start afresh. (Throwback to first ep!!!) And also, the reason why they get to reincarnate on the same day, same time and same year means that whenever SF died, XJ also killed herself. Which also explains why she is always failing her trial in the mortal realm!!! Omg

HC is only practicing the loveless mantra because he is 'human' and does not have / can't use his spiritual powers in the mortal realm at the moment.. for the marrying of the lady it is said to be political. it does sounds like gibberish but the scene took almost 10mins. Did you see the last few mins of EP 28 tonight? Where Si Ming was telling Teng She about HC and XJ's past 'story' where HC married the other lady and XJ flew into a rage. Wonder if that's true. Doesn't sound like God of War or XJ at all.

Yesyes that's right. I think he's always had a thing for her because she reminds her of his sister. Let's see if his sister appears in the later episodes..

Episode 27 was really epic. One of the best episodes I've seen in chinese drama history. No kidding. YBY did a really good job as Xuan Ji. the moment when she woke up after leaving the Ba Huang Mirror and started talking about what she saw and what she experienced in her past life. You could feel her angst, sadness, frustration and pain.... For some reasons I totally felt her and was crying alongside her. I really can't wait to find out the exact details and all the injustice our little Xuan Ji aka God of War went through. Gosh. Everyone, let's continue rooting for this drama!

I thought about that for awhile but I don't think so. Ruo Yu may have some real feelings for Xiao Yin Hua. This is evident in the scene when Zi Hu (Purple Fox) captured them in the earlier episodes. The person Ruo Yu thought of was the snake. Hmm...

I'm not sure if it's just love tribulations that she had to undergo. It could be others too? From what I recall in all the past 9 lifetimes, she's always had it tough and held grievances. Sifeng was there for her (like the reason why he joined her in the moral realm) and loved her and treated her sincerely. He dedicated his life by her side hoping to be the light in her life. But in all the past 9 lifetimes XJ always let her hatred and grievances blind her and get the better of her. She couldn't let go of what she experienced to live a 'peaceful' life. She's always taking extreme measures. So I guess in order for her to pass the final trial, she would have to learn to love more and hate less. In a way, this means less killing~ as for the reason why HC joined her in the mortal realm and removed her 6 senses, it is to desensitise her to the earthly desires and emotions. After all, if she doesn't know love, she won't know how to hate. He just wants her to live this lifetime peacefully and join him back in heaven. However, things doesn't go as smoothly with SF around as he slowly taught XJ how to love. With love, comes hate and everything else (I think we will start to see this part when SF shows his 'demonic' side after he reveals his true self as the golden bird. As he 'lies' to XJ, XJ feels betrayed and anger builds up etc., Hence risking her last chance. This is what i have deduced. What do you think?

Omg speaking of this, have you guys seen the music video by the actor/singer who plays the role of Head of Li Ze Palace aka SF's father? There are so many spoilers inside. let's prepare more tissues. Things are about to get real dark

It's actually a recap of their past 9 lives where the ending is always the same- XJ kills SF. He was very sad when he saw those recap because all 9 lifetimes had one tragic ending and he was at a lost and didn't know what to feel. He worried about whether this would be their ultimate fate as well this lifetime

If I'm not wrong it's because XJ's heart is sealed, that's why she's not able to love fully. The day that she regained her freedom to love will be the day that they lift the curse
