DFQC can't remove the bracelet because XLH loves DFQC and has deep feelings for him. The more she loves him, the harder it is for anyone to remove the bracelet. She is the only one who can remove it so unless it's voluntary, no one can remove it.

Tonight's episodes are definitely the highlight of this drama so far. So done with the repetitive, draggy and prolonged plot and heartbreak. It was refreshing to get to uncover new storylines and backstory about the demon lord and his love.

YZ did so well in 也忘川. Give her an award please!!! Her flashbacks brought out such immense pain and sadness in me. I can't help but to feel for YD. It's just so sad. superb acting. Hope the second part of the series will pan out well and be less draggy.

P/s: so glad that fking demonic ying Deng is ded. What an annoying character...

Did anyone else watch 与君初相识 (The Blue Whisper)? I can't believe that Christy Guo aka the actress who plays God of War / Chi Di Nv Zi in this show is playing a similar role. Haha. In TBW, she also passed on unfortunately and her disciple who was in love with her (just like Rong Hao in this show) turned to the dark side just to try hard to revive her. Such similar roles! But her character is definitely a lot more interesting here since we get to see her in the mortal realm too. Interesting.

Just watched ep 19 and 10 and totally not feeling the mortal realm.. I'm surprised that Changheng's character seemed to be a little brat. Praying for more DFQC and XLH scenes this coming week 🥹

In one of the spoiler videos I've watched online, XLH will stab herself with a sword to protect DFQC. I have a feeling that the only weapon that can do that is the very ancient sword that Xu Feng demanded Shang Que to give him. I feel that Xu Feng would still want the best for his bro... So in the later episodes I won't be surprised if he actually put the sword back together and as the plot progresses, XLH finds out abt the sword and decided to "free" DFQC by sacrificing herself with the sword -- it's the only weapon in the world that can break the spell that binds them together without killing DFQC.

I actually really love Mark Chao and his characters as Mo Yuan / Ye Hua. He's so dreamy! His crying scenes are awesome. Omg! Maybe because he's Taiwanese.. so he didn't do too many C-dramas..

Yes they are very popular! Xuanji is actually very loved by Chinese netizens for her role in Evernight. However when the cast for Love and Redemption was announced, there were many bad comments abt her and people doubting her ability. Some even crudely said that her outfit and style in this show resembles Zhao Liying in Hua Qian Gu. But there were many positive comments ever since the show aired.

As for Sifeng, he is a popular actor but sad thing is that his company or management doesn't promote him too much or too well. If you take a look at his social media accounts, they are only updated once in awhile :( so sad. And also whenever dramas are airing, companies would always spend money to create a 'hot topic' or 'hot search" on weibo to increase their popularity but so much all the trends on Love and Redemption are organic ones and they only make it to the top few for awhile. It will get drowned out by other hot terms after awhile :(

Last week the Love and Redemption team actually held a live session where the cast and director sat down for a chat to discuss about their roles in the show. And can you believe that having debuted for so long, that session is actually Cheng Yi's FIRST ever live event?! Omg :(( they are really not giving him justice

If I'm not wrong, the first episode actually showed the scene where they were about to reincarnate as mortals and though their faces were not revealed, we know that there's a guy behind Xuanji, and that is sifeng. In later episodes/trailers, we saw that the man is Sifeng and he said "forget it. Maybe it's better to forget it everything' and proceeds to drink the water. The fact that Xuanji turned back to look at him before she drank hers also showed that she knows Sifeng (from their last lifetime). Hence the theory that XJ died immediately after she killed Sifeng is probably right... Seeing how they were reincarnated together and born in the mortal realm on the same day, time and year.

Yesyes. As per the convo between Teng She and Siming, Haochen as White Emperor made a promise to be with God of War forever. But he broke it to bring back stability in the heavens by marrying some woman. This is why there was once when Haochen lamented about whether he is bound to face love tribulation since he let God of War down once (emotionally).

As for EP 30, the flower crystal Xuanji fed Sifeng with is actually a love token that Haochen gave her. It's something from the heavens so it is filled with high spiritual power. When raging at Siming, Haochen asked if it's because Xuanji doesn't know the significance of the flower crystal? He was angry that Xuanji gave it to Sifeng just like that, when it meant so much more to him. At this point he raged further and emphasized that "XUAN JI WILL ALWAYS BE MINE! ALWAYS! SHE WILL ALWAYS BELONG TO ME AND THE HEAVEN REALM!" And he proceeded to say that Sifeng must not stay on anymore.
