Enjoying the show but my god this babysitting arc is such a handicap to the plot. imagine how much more immersive…
Eh. Personally, I actually find it more interesting that he’s working with a handicap. Watching him navigate the chaos while still having to protect someone adds tension for me. It’s messy, inconvenient, and kind of the point.

if you know history or watch Samurai anime you would have known Okubo will get assassinated every time.
Yes! I remember him getting assassinated in Rurouni Kenshin. Now I suddenly want to rewatch it all over again.

if the second phone was given to the restaurant lady before WHS went to meet KJH, how come there was a record…
This is my question too. i feel like the writers were in a hurry to wrap up the story and did not explain it much further. I would assume that the video was automatically uploaded into cloud or something and it's synced to that old mobile device. LOL.

i didn't get today's episodewhat is kang dongju doing by sending all patients to Doldam
I got too excited researching so pardon the wall of text. You may read @chelseasoo's response if you don't want to read through. But...

Kang Dong Joo is actually bringing order to the chaos.

From the past seasons, we are used to Doldam taking in and treating any emergency patients no matter what their injuries are (Master Kim-style). Just like how we are used to that, the designated doctors from the center are too.

( I actually find it funny/absurd that the doctors from the center are puzzled whenever Dong Joo says that they should send the patients to the ER. They've been aspiring to be a Trauma Center team for a while now. Effective way for the watchers to be frustrated too, aint it? ;) )

We are finally seeing what the Trauma center is for. I'm no expert but here's what I read through:
Trauma centers specializes on severe cases such as gunshot and stab wounds, major burns, traumatic car crash injuries, blunt force trauma, brain injuries while Non-Trauma or ER treats broken bones, fainting/loss of consciousness, heart attacks, less severe burns, strokes, severe vomiting, stomach pains, and/or diarrhea.

Of course these are just the basics (...and there are still other important stats to check) but you can hear the keywords from Dong Joo and the paramedics every time.

Remember the first patient that came in? The paramedic mentioned (here are the keywords) he had chest pains before losing consciousness. Dong Joo also checked that the patient didn't have any bleeding or didn't need immediate surgery. This was why the patient was sent to Doldam.

Second patient, she fell while hiking. She said that her right knee hurts the most when she was asked. Doesn't have any pain on the hips and no swelling on the head. The most she probably got was broken bones. Sent to Doldam... and so were the succeeding patients.

This was also the reason why you don't hear anything from Master Kim apart from "Send them in. Send them in.” because that's what the ER is for.

Master Kim and Cha Jin Man have a different vision (dream) and strategy but he is not the "main villain". By episode…
I agree. I would have liked it more if they explored about Master Kim's realization and added bits and pieces on the episodes after. Perhaps on the succeeding episodes? Although I wouldn't keep my hopes up. They would probably focus more on Kang Do Ju being back in Doldam and wrapping up the season since there are only 4 episodes left.

what was the point of cha jin man being in the story and being the "main antagonist" if he was just going to leave…
Master Kim and Cha Jin Man have a different vision (dream) and strategy but he is not the "main villain". By episode 5, it was hinted that the Assemblywoman (or someone behind her - the one she's talking to over the phone on episode 12) is. Key dialogue: prepare for an all-out war. The succeeding episodes proved that too.

You can see hints of goodness from Jin Man from the previous episodes: recognizing how good of a surgeon Seo Woo Jin is even if they oppose each other a lot, acknowledging how good a team they have at Doldam, protecting In Soo and standing up to the Assemblywoman when her kid died, and not to mention his dialogue with Woo Jin in Nam Do Il's bar.

If anything, his character propelled the story forward:
>> created a bigger conflict (assemblywoman arc),
>> strengthened Seo Woo Jin and Cha Eun Jae's relationship
>> and let Master Kim realized that not all can keep the same pace as him - prioritizing the patients (on episode 5-6 when Woo Jin mistakenly cut his hand during surgery, In Soo with the dead kid, Eun Jae with almost killing the patient, etc.). Master Kim and his ideals have stood firm the past 2 seasons but this time he was shaken and he began to question if he's teaching or doing the right thing.

Love love the recent episodes! Although it bothers me that they were able to build a new trauma building/center but the "Dam" light on the Doldam signage is flickering still after more than 2 seasons. LOL.

Taeyong is Main dancer. Not lead dancer
In Korea they are not.
The Main Dancer is usually the member with the greatest dancing skills. They usually get the solo dancing parts. (EX: Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon, Blackpink’s Lisa, etc.)
The Lead Dancer is usually the 2nd best dancer in the group. When the group dances together, he/she will often dance in the front.

I feel like she’s pretending to be dumb and that her character will have a huge turnout in the end. She maybe…
Yes, I’m watching ‘Mouse’ too!
But given the similarities of this drama with “How to Get Away With Murder”, anything is possible. I will not delve into details but basically some of the deaths in the series were from subsequent actions by different characters.

I feel like she’s pretending to be dumb and that her character will have a huge turnout in the end. She maybe even be the killer or one of the killers (yes, I’m assuming there are multiple suspects).

I don't think that joon hwi killed his uncle. I hope that my instinct is right.
My guess is he probably didn’t and that each character will have their own episode(s) where they are suspected as the killer just like the first two episodes with professor yang since most of the main/support characters went inside the room.

I agree with many comments-As soon as Prosecutor Yang walked into the classroom, my mind went 'Oh-How to get away…
To plead the fifth means to refuse to answer a question, especially in a criminal trial, on the grounds that you might incriminate yourself.

“No person shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself.” This principle also underlies the Miranda rights, or “the right to remain silent.”

Episode 8. Almost half-way but I'm still not invested with any of the characters and plot. I adore 'Good Manager' (same writer of this drama: Park Jae Bum) although it made me cringe lots of times and I like a good dark comedy however, this is overdone for my taste.

I will recommend it to people who like slapstick, overacting, and over-the-top comedy. Otherwise, stay away from this series.
